well the Williams sisters are out as is Roger Federer and there is stil Nadal, Murray,divoak and others trying to get that trophy. this time of the year is the ultimate in tennis. at center court in England for the chance to be champion. center court and where the whose who of tennis battle for the brass ring. i've always been a fan and admired the game and the overlal competition and anything can happen. of course this is the court where rivals in tennis truly square up and seize the moment and there are turning points and phases. looking forward to it and nothing like it on 4th of july or this time of the year. looking forward to how it all plays itself out.

blowing bubbles with my Lady

ain't nothing else quite like, i mean imagine dancing in the streets and just hearing music even though nothing is playing but the sounds of the street, well i'm feeling like Lawrence Welk and the bubbles are making me feel lite on my feet. we just enjoy the simple things and the run into a wallmart or any store to find bubbles to blow, its so much fun. i mean good bubbles that actual work are hard to find. enjoy this kind of entertainment especially in the summertime. even on misty rainy nights bubbles set a quiet laid back evening. i will look at a bottle of bubbles like some folks who enjoy wine and think how delicate and beautiful it truly is and the memorys that come along with it. even the bottle of bubbles smells nice and to just blow them, as if there isn't a care in the world. very romantic and a good price on a big ole bottle.

summer time weather

today was muggy where i live, funny wasn't much spring and now less than week into summer

and it is muggy, but what does that mean? wonder if i will need a fan or a rotating air condition? what to wear and how to protect yourself from the sun rays. also eating during this time of year, funny how summer was always my favorite time of year and yet it goes by so fast and yet out of all the seasons you comtemplate the many things and ways of going about doing things. summers of long ago were spent on vacation, playing ball, going shopping, arcades, movies, playing out doors and just staying cool. summer means different things in the grown up years and yet it is still a special time to get out and enjoy the great out doors, even when it rains in the summer it feels lite and easy. eating on the grill and drinking alot of cool drinks. enjoy the summer we are only a week in.

going to the movies

its is so expensive i was looking at the early afternoon shows and i'm like that is dinner.

i mean who can swing those kind of prices in 2011 on a regular? bring your own drink and popcorn. anything else and keep it moving because there is so much. even before the movie starts you got a whole lot of clips and advertisements and so on which prolong the actual film itself. summer time is the time to go see something and be taking away, but going to the movies nowadays is even more reality than the actual reality itself strange as that seems and sounds.

looking at what is playing at the local theater i'll just wait and save my money. a bit too expensive for me.

Boston beat Vancouver in the Stanley Cup finals

game 7 was tonight in Vancouver and the Bruins beat the Cannucks 4-0,but the fans in Van Couver,Canada lost there natural minds in defeat. scary what would might have happen had they won the game. cars got turned over,fires started and just all out maddness. now Vancouver had a great season and almost won the Stanley cup, but the attitude and reaction in loss was too much. sports fans take there sports serious,however these were people with too much time on there hands looking to self destruct and acts the fool role. congradulations to Boston and to Vancouver however the crowd in Vancouver doing what they did was tacky and wrong for that.

the Lebron James haters need a new hobby

first and foremost Lebron James is the best nba player in the league today, next i've always dug him and i was sad as a fan of the Miami Heat that the team came up short in the finals. Dwyane Wade is my favorite player going today. nevertheless while Bron wasn't much of a factor in the finals and in part gotta give credit to the dallas mavericks using zone defense, the haters are in full force on lebron. ohio governor talking about giving the mavs the key to the city. i could sense the hate toward lebron after he offically last year said he was going to miami. and while dallas won the finals, lets just say some of the officiating actual calls bron usually get weren't there. no superstar treatment and there was a payback aspect in effect i sensed. lebron was in the finals this year and that is a win for him, because when you leave one situation it is in order to gain something even better, that is the goal. haters stay hating, but when he wins it all i can't wait to see the haters face, laugh for a minute now, but there will be a time when bron will have the last laugh. he left Cleveland and was successful there time to get over it already.

Dallas Mavericks beat the miami heat for the title

Dallas mavericks are the nba champions Dirk,Jason Terry,Jason kidd,rest of the team and there coach Ric Carlie won it all sunday night in game 6.DWyane Wade,Lebron James,Chris Bosh and the rest of the Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat came up short. i was pulling hard for the heat and they will be back i tip my cap to the mavericks as they won and deserve there Jewlery.

Mark Cuban the maveericks owner was quiet through the whole post season and calm worked out well here. the series was a rollar coster ride all the way through.

i got a feeling these two teams might have another encounter in the post season again. i know the heat will be back. for now dallas has the ring.

USC Trojans men football team have to give up title

it was reproted than in the ncaa investigations finding that USC football player Reggie Bush recieved gifts during his time there and the trojans have become the first college men's team to ever be stripped of a title and i ask why? college football generates big bucks. all thr advertisers, endorsors and lets remember they are playing a contact sport with serious injurys at any given time.

not to mention there jerseys and likeness are sold many times over without them seeing dime one. and nothing happens to the coach IE Pete Carroll who is a head coach with Seattle Seahawks. nothing new here and personally i've always felt that college football players out to be paid,some people go to a school based on someone famous or known being there.

boxing Legend Sugar Ray Leonard opens up in book

i always respected Boxing Great Sugar Ray Leonard, though he didn't beat my boy Thomas Hearns in niether of there matches back in the day to me,but Sugar Ray leonard was a Great Champion. in his new book He Opens up about being abused by a former boxing trainer,his issues within his first marriage,alcohol abuse and him missing out on time with his kids and other things that left a dark cloud over him,until he finally opened up. it takes alot of courage to admit certain things which are still consider taboo for alot of Men to speak on. Sugar Ray is now 55 which is hard to believe because i can still see him dancing in the ring,but thankfully he has his life together and he is exercisng those demons and not afraid to speak on a dark chapter in his life. Sugar Ray Leonard said that hearing Todd Bridges of "Different Strokes" Tv Fame speak out on his Abuse at the hands of a former manager encouraged his choice at speaking on it in his book and i applaud him.

he might have saved somebody's life with speaking out on this subject matter.

Anthony Weiner really went buck wild

tripping off another Politician getting there freak on and this time it is Anthony Weiner.

interesting thing here,the Guy has it all, and a beautiful wife of a year,but he got his cyber freak on in a real "Oscar Meyer" way. i mean he went buck Wild with his,and there are more,still it ain't no crime and alot of politicians get down and dirty and not just as politicans either. just another in a long line of political playa's macking and attacking.

he has little to no support and funny how folks moonwalk from you when the going gets tough. he is just the latest in a long line, that wanted some sideline side dish and i ain't tripping off of this because as long as he is doing his job,its not like folks in his circle didn't know.

i say don't beat up on a cat when he is down and just hope he will be alright because he has alot of life left in him,god willingly,however this isn't a good look for him right now,however there are worse situations one could be in and there have been higher ranked politicans with there own dirt and who is to judge?

to me the baddest nba force that i have ever seen called it officially a career friday and he was comical as usual in retirement. the man changed the game of basketball. the hack a Shaq rule to foul him because he wasn't that good at the free throw line except when it counted.

the flopping routine which was a pain to see all the acting going on. Shaq won 4 rings,6 nba finals appearences, 3 time finals mvp, 1 regular season MVP Award he should have easily had another 3 or 4.3 time All Star game MVP,GoldMedal winner in 96,rookie of the year, 5th all time in scoring in the league,his numbers are staggering. he has a larger than life personality. there will never be another Shaq.

he was my favorite Player over the past 20 years and to me him and Magic Johnson are the baddest two that i have ever seen, Shaq was a cat who enjoyed himself and was a beast. the Diesel asked CAN YOU DIG IT? yes we can Shaq you always represented.

for his size the cat had crazy mobility and will. he embraced his dominance and let you know about it.

watched his movies,listen to his albums, commericals and Shaq knew how to party on and 0ff the court. one of a kind.

cell phones and cancer???

add cell phones as the latest thing to cause cancer. it seems as if everything can cause you cancer and this is a recent study, the electro lites going to your brain just as microwaves and plastic bowls, and other common items. give me a break everything is available and yet not good for you,but still there. more people use cell phones more than ever and if it wasn' them,it would be something else. it never fails i always wonder why present a safety hazard if its not going to be safe? next they will say the prize in the cracker jack box will give you cancer? always a new one and its not going to slow down the sales of cell phones just means more texting which people tend to do more of now anyways.
