Royal Wedding today

well it finally happen today and it was a big event and it was seen and covered all over the world.

back in the day when Prince Charles and Lady Diana got Married it was a bigger event and it was a bigger deal so it appeared. however this Wedding has two people who truly have a Love scent in there eyes. glad to see the look of Love, I don't get into the whole royal treatment and the whole overall vibe, this was nice and the country got a great wedding and a rememberence of Lady Diana. the media was there in full effect and it was talked about, the day finally came. i wish them the best and a long life together full of Love and the best they can be to one another, but then again i say that stateside.

Alabama Tornado is the scary truth

that is truly sad down south with the latest storms. tragedy to see and so scary. Lives Lost, destruction and devastation and so much happening all at once and non stop. no end in sight and no answers as Nature is fast and furious. how do you ever truly prepare mentally for such a situation that destroys each and everything. President Obama signed a Natural disaster bill and prayers are with People in Alabama and down South. just scary and horror to the eyes. six states in all are effected and so mind blowing. i always feel there is a message within when situations as this occur.prayers are with all people who have been impacted directly or with family and friends involved in this tornado. very sad times indeed.

President Obama is a American Citizen and why is this story getting so fully blown out of Proportion? America is a very Racist narrow Minded country and there are people who are disturbed and offended that a Black Man is the President of the United States. lets call it what it is and know what time it is, because this mess is racist and maddening beyond belief. Donald Trump has allowed that crazy rug on his head cloud his brain waves and movements. there is no accounting for him leadin a charge to question the Birth Certificate of President Obama's. I mean what Politician has exactly gotten as far as President Obama without being Born here? i mean the fact this even became a story is scary and truly embarassing to say the least.

this feels like modern Day Plantation. the President is being questioned by a dude who ain't even been a Mayor of his city and isn't a politician, just a Loud Mouth Bigot who operates his business like its a game of Monopoly.

it is scary when the sony play station has hackers getting access to peoples address. phone numbers, social security and other data information. the highs and lows of the gadget era and nothing is private anymore. word came out that the play station had been hacked and talk about a crisis? i don't buy the games and have only played them a few times, still this was a big deal and scary. hackers are everywhere and folks find ways into systems and don't stop until they make there pressences felt there.

spring weather what does it mean?

hard to forecast spring throughout the country this year.

whatever happen to the days when spring was actually spring?

don't get me wrong tempertures would still be in the mid 40's to mid 50's and it

would be a little while before some warmth kicked in, however you knew when spring was there.

however if you live in a climate as i do where the lines are blurred where winter ends, where spring starts and how much actual summer you get before fall kicks in.

talk about a mix bag? still bundle up and staying warm as to bringing out the spring threads.

april is almost over and may is a few days away and i still can't tell you what season it is.

was sacrificed. good friday for me feels so deep and enriching, i can never truly explain it.

i know i feel truly blessed and re fresh for it.

9 year old boy saved his baby sister

he gave his sister mouth to mouth and brought her back. he saw it in a movie and watched and learned it. i think it was great that he saw the film and learned the necessary steps at saving his sister. sometimes a tv show or a film can inspire and bring out the best and be a life changing moment. heard about it a few days back and saw a segment of it tonight on inside edition and I thought it was fantastic and especially with this being holy week. its great to hear good news for a change and something that shows taken care of someone.

clothes you know longer care for

interesting how our taste change through times. i remember liking certain things

and then forgettimg all about them or just wanting to get rid of them. like you see a shirt or slacks and think this ain't 1991 and i ain't rocking that. we have pictures,yeah a word that meant a photo taken of you pre cell camera phones,etc.. what a difference time and technilogy means or meant, interestingly clothing choices have there respective eras and cring never goes out of style. what is considered slammin and happening now, becomes corny and laughable rather quickly as the years go by.

you know of course i feel racism is ugly as ever and even more so nowadays because in recent days what was shown as a family and using Apes and then to see president obama's head attached to the baby one was racist and wrong. there is a lack of respect,tact and class at work here. i mean what makes so called highly educated people resort to Jim Crow crass acting ways? i'm never shocked nor surprised much the same way as Donald Trump on the daily is further sticking his foot down his throat in showing his racial ways and his lack of a clue and being cool as a politician. but this lastest photo just is a reminder at how quite a few folks still view life and times despite the first Black President,its an ugly reminder of the negativity that is still front and center.

national record store day

national record store day, the sight and sounds of going to the music store and buying a fresh record. there was a time when that was the ultimate gift and it still is for many lovers of records, watching those 33's spin and rotate as you snap your fingers and groove. you want to capture that feeling in the digital age where mp3 players and downloading are the norms. of course so many record stores have vanished, use to be a whole bunch of mom and pop stores along with other stores, nowadays only a handful can hang once target and wallmart got into the game. going to the record store for me back in the day was like going to a carnival, i could get lost and enjoy myself so much. what a wonderful feeling it was.

which ones do you subscribe to and why? many a time we tend to believe certain things which can be used generally to describe a race of people, believes at a certain age and time. how do these things exactly become fact and set in stone? myths are different than surveys, because surveys are like fast food quick and drawing a reaction, but myths can last years and the mind can run with it as fact and time has a way of going by and nobody questioning it,etc... any and everything can feel like a myth and yet not everything is myth worthy if that makes any sense. myths though are best used in pop culture which manipulates them and it spins out of control and so on. very compelling i must say.

tax day

april 15nth and you know uncle sam got two hands and a smile to collect. funny how this day comes and that certain facial expression like you just see the boogie man comes across loud and clear. what takes you and gets such a reaction? its amazing at how it forms and stays with you. making sure all the numbers are accurate and set forth. many a time in the past tax time was a carefree thing until it started to really hit home. write offs and taken care of bills and notes and so much becomes a write off. oh how so much changed, and then was it enough to get back a little something? now of course tax season goes a bit longer,however april 15nth still looms large and you never forget the date, i know i don't.

why is this being overblown because the Vice President started to nod? i mean it happens to alot of people and sleeping today seems to a job unto itself or so it seems. the standard of 7-8 hours of rest needed gets you through the night,etc.. but the basic half hour to hour Nap is even more incredible in truth. i have taken mini naps and the truth is i feel so refresh and good. i mean if you are sitting still what can happen is the occasional nod or out right fallen asleep, so it does happen and quite often to people who just get comfortable. i mean go to the dentist or the doctors and how you would love to sleep through whatever needs to be done on that particular Session. so i saw it all on the news and didn't think much one way or the other. he noded during the President's Speech and i bet he still can tell you exactly what was said because he hears speeches all of the time,etc..

Kobe Bryant fined over gay slur

during tuesday nights game versus San Antonio Spurs, Kobe Bryant made a gay slur toward the ref who called him for a technical foul. Bryant said he didn't mean it and that it was the heat of the moment. conspracy theory in me says why now was he caught when i bet he had said this before? and is it only because it happens to a ref that it is getting attention? as if players don't say this or even far worse? also the conspiracy theorist out here myself included often feel that while Kobe Bryant is one of the Greatest Players Ever, he has gotten to do what most superstars get to do,etc.. so why now they trying to make an example out of him? i'm not defending what he said and he knows what he said,and he was wrong. however i do have to wonder if the nba brass wants to act like they aren't showing kobe and the lakers the usual favortism aingle they so often are rewarded? the timing and actions appear a bit strange. he was wrong for what he said, however i ain't thinking this is his firt time saying it and it won't be his last time. the nba is so phony with the way they want to portray certain images and things and yet you get situations like this,and if the game isn't nationally televised is anything ever said?

Trump going in on President Obama's citizenship, he sounds ignorant and like a bigot. why is he talking that mess and starting up that un necessary drama? he just wants to fuel something doesn't need to be stirred up at all. what is his purpose exactly? do his supporters condone that mess? Ashley Judd blaming Hip-Hop for the lyrical content and negative images and ways on the radio being sold to the public etc..... thing is country music, pop music in general have always said and done what they wanted,etc......... how can she blame a genre of music for the language being used? also she is part of the problem. she works in the very business that sells and promotes the lyrics and imagery. she ought to be mad at the ceo's and time share holders and people that [imp the acts into what is played on radio and sold on video, but she doesn't want to be blackballed. using rappers as a scapegoat is wrong and racist to me. nothing is new under the sun, these record companys want to sell by all means and been around long enough to know the game.

Budget deal reached at the 11nth hour

it seemed like there might be a goverment cut and that it would impact if Soliders got there pay checks. Parks and National places were all set to shut down. scary to think it took this and so much more to getting things ironed out. says to me there is alot more going down that isn't being talked about and we have no idea of what is in store and what is happening. nothing at this time and point can afford to be shut down. good that President Obama was able to hammer out a deal,however we don't know what is ahead and what is going to happen. we know there are more cuts and there are going to be less spending and what have you. its going to be Messy before it is clear again. glad that things are half way ok for the moment.

when to cut the grass

so it is april, however the weather is chilly and kinda damp and yet the crack of sunshine got me hyped to run the lawnmower and it has been about a good 7 months or so since the last cut. looking at the yard or yards in the neighborhood brings me to a favorite past time that truly captures the spirit of the changing of the seasons, though it depends on where you live and how the climate is effected by said conditions. never know what to expect and the prospects in temperture. so yeah i notice a change in the air and yet still bundle up,however i want to put gas in the tank and mow down the lawn.

the Masters Golf tournement starts tommorow

i always get hyped for the masters. it is one of those events where you root for somebody me always rooting,forTiger Woods. of course a showdown between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson is always worth the price of admission and then if a cinderalla story emerges that is also cool. i've watched the master's for years and years. it is a compelling humbling championship. anything can happen and it has over the years there. so many great champions and stories have unfolded there and hoping this year continues the tradition. getting hyped aleady.

Board games still sell

found out the board games are still selling like crazy. monopoly, scrabble and other board games are still selling no matter what the technilogy. i still have board games. i've played them a whole lot of my life and thensome. found out the latest sales. i mean all the games offered, but a game you play with your mind and eyes is powerful. it is incredible that a game like scrabble still challenges and brings out the competitive side in all folks. i love the days when the mind made you think in a game as to it being generated.

U Conn beat Butler in the men's ncaa finals tonight

the first half was decent, the second half was like watching paint dry and real slow at that. been quite a while since a college basketball finals has fully captured my full imagination and i tend to like close games or some good hype. i always dig march maddness and this is the fatest time of the year with how quickly the month goes by and the teams,etc... i've watched this time of the year for a good number of years and you always wonder who will emerge in victory or how will one team bounce back,etc... butler lost last year to duke with a brick 3 point attempt at the final buzzer than nearly went in. this year in the second half of the title game they just shot bricks period and it wasn't a pretty sight to see. college basketball though really steps into a higher gear around this time and aside from the game this march maddness lived up to the hype, congrads to u conn for winning and congrads to butler for battling. and i feel college players ought to be paid.

what makes a weekend complete?

the best way to spend a weekend is to enjoy the people and places that bring the best out of you. time well spent and just talking, having conversation and those things go a long way. food, friends or family reflecting on what you did and how things feel and seem. thinking back to how you envision other days and times to go. sometimes you just have to tune out the rest of the world and channel where you are now and focus. spirits can be raised and felt by that energy simple as that. making the most of your time and staying in sight of what is important and also what brings the best out of you.

some people love doing the old school yard pranks on people and some go to great extremes funny thing some folks do this on the regular or even daily. what exactly makes April fools day more than a novelty? it has always been a day when somebody says something to try to catch you off guard and it can work if you are not thinking. people of all ages have participated in this game and interestingly enough it is a game because how far it goes really ain't much of laughing matter. thing is it takes credibility and enough of a direct expression to pull it off and then pull the chair up under somebody to utter the words gotcha. very vulnerable to the cliche and yet still often can fall for it. did anyone get one over on you? when i hear the news about the job market being better i think of daily April fools with the way these business's and things are going out and it isn't a laughing matter.
