Tennis Player David Ferrer during his match heard a Baby crying as he was already losing during his tennis match and he took a swing with his racket and his tennis ball was geared in the direction of the baby crying. now on one hand you can't take a child everywhere, on the other hand dude is losing as it is and why would he take it out on a innocent baby who was with her father? no matter what dude says he isn't gonna win with the general public on this,aside from a few folks, but the majority are gonna think this is One Big Dummy To Quote Fred G Sanford. it was very dangerous because the speed of the average tennis serve is real high, lets hope this doesn't happen again.

Baseball is back!

opening day is here and it is time for the 162 game season, hot dogs, drinks rooting for your favorite team. New york yankees fan here and believe me the trash talking has started. oh well that is my team and i'm hoping for some partying in october. its going to be tough as teams are getting better and trying to one up the top dog. just expecting warm weather, competition and alot of fun rooting and watching as i do yearly. gotta go get a new yankee cap by the way and i cringe when i encounter boston red sox fans and there caps yikes!!!!!! looking forward to seeing how the season goes and how teams do.

what would you select and why? i often wonder as I watch the news and all the sad morbid and horrorable events that seem to be common place on the daily. now I know the news is suppose to report all the happenings going on, however there are times when I'm feeling like you can't come up with one uplifting story? seems to be fear of doom and gloom. now we have major storys daily that affect and impact lives all over the universe, however there has to be a balance of news that speaks and says there is more going on than all the maddness. what would i do if I turned on the news and the news was broken down to half good and the other half going on. wouldn't that be something if there was balance on your nightly news?

talk about things that make you shake your head? i mean that was a trip how his bill reached that level, it was a error by a worker with the company who accidentally typed in the wrong numbers. now of course it messes up your credit ratings and that kind of figure unless you got a side stash of 17 milion dollars sitting around, is bound to make you feel like you need some tums or pepto bismol. in truth the cable companys out to be paying the consumers back because there are so many more ways to view programs,etc.. than ever before. you can watch from your computer or lap top. you can watch films or tv shows. there is only so much being shown as is. i still remember the old bruce springsteen song 57 channels and nothing on and this is the truth.laugh if you will but the basic channels of back in the day got it right. they had something to watch.

She was only 79, however it felt like so much more. of course she was very close to Michael Jackson and alot of people remember them as friends and her acting career seems so long ago to alot of folks or perfume empire which was dominant for quite some time.

her personal live was big time news way before tabloids,hard copy,hard copy,etc... became the norm everywhere. however she was a true Legend,great actress,etc.. she actually balanced the on screen and off screen with class, alot of these turkeys out now are famous for being famous without actually being famous, but Liz Taylor was the real deal and also very giving. she lived a full life times two and did her thing and kept it moving.

i met her when i was a kid back in the day in virginia and she was cool.

what a beautiful powerful day and she is a special soul that has truly touched me and countless

so many others. hearing her voice daily and yearly is something I never take for granted. it makes me feel so complete to hear her voice and the brightness that comes from it. she has seen and been through so much and the Lord has his hands on her and protects her soul. she is truly at peace and i feel the joy of life that shines through her heart. it takes a special soul to capture and move you and she has been a trailblazer that makes you feel welcomed and invited.

i'm truly blessed to have her in my life.

Chris Brown was tripping on GMA

saw the footage and the interview with him and Robyn Roberts and alot of me felt this was contrived because Brown just had a new album released yesterday and somehow this is street cred. Chris Brown has been on the comeback trial and getting his career back into gear. i was like why smash windows and trip like that after being asked questions that you knew were coming?

i mean he knew what the obvious questions were going to be and if he didn't want to say nothing he could have declined. i miss the days when artists would leave more to the imagination and stay quiet. nowadays with twitter and things you get too much and then you don't get much of nothing. thing is less is more and let your work do the talking and everything else shall follow.

i don't get censorship on youtube when it is based in the united states and things are done

i heard the horror last night 39 billion dollar deal to merge and i don't like it at all.

T Mobile has fair and cool deals AT and T just gobbles ans has over priced deals and just want a monopoly on the cell phone game. i wasn't feeling this one too tight.

i don't like it when something that i dig is forced into a merger. it means jobs are lost, higher costs and there is going to be a lack of communication and there is impact.

i wish there was room for all, however it just doesn't work like that, it is a mess. a year before it goes into full effect, i can hardly wait.

Spring is here

finally tommorow marks the first offical day of spring. it feels not so long ago summer was here and i had a good summer last year which made way for fall and winter. seasons change and the time flies by quicker than one can imagine and yet the days can blur at times because depending on where and what life is taking you through. i have many memorys of days gone by and getting excited for spring and the freshness of it all. the nights get a little bit more light and we are getting closer to summer though it doesn't quite feel like it. resting and relaxing is very interesting as the weather eventually starts to get warmer. i can't wait to enjoy the smell of spring. yet winter hasn't completely signed out yet.

enjoy reading a good book

mentally i enjoy the challenge and since travel is few and not a whole lot these days and times

mentally stimulated my mind with a good book still does the trick. can never stop reading and never want to. enjoy books about people, places and things, however especially people because how people reach different places in life and life's journeys is incredible to the soul and ultimately the wisdom and knowledge. so important to change direction and reach new levels of depth through words, understanding and striving for a fuller appreciation of this journey on earth.

seeing more daylight

it feels good to see more daylight. back when the clock was back an hour, go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. now it's so cool to have light on both fronts and just enjoy the scene. birds are singing away early and often. the grass is looking good and it is nice to feel the changing of the season as spring is coming. now the weather is still playing games, because there is still a cool front which means i stay bundled up a while longer.

college basketball march maddness

the start of march maddness, begins tommorow, as teams battle for the right to become national college champions. through the years it has always been very exciting to watch march maddness and see new talent emerge and you can remember whom did what. so many teams battling for that final four and the ultimate title in the college ranks. buzzer beaters, hype, and alot of emotions are going to be felt from the first tip off, until the final game on the first monday in april.through the years i've enjoyed many of these games.

i heard and read what Adrian Peterson said and i agree, because while Athletes are paid a whole lot of money, there is also so much that never gets discussed and spoken on. when athletes get older and don't have health insurance or other means, wat happens? how much money are there teams really worth? jerseys sell, madden games and other tie ins between the owners and the ceos,etc.. however there is a whole lot of money being made and alot of it not being talked about. nothing can compare to Slavery, however the nfl as with these other major sports,run things like a Plantation.the books out to be made for the players to see how the money is being spent,etc..

i applaud AP because it feels like a power is running crazy over the players. i like how Peterson said these owners need to be checked into, because things don't add up.

so crazy with time changes i just went ahead a day ahead and ppushed the clock up

i figured it was inevitable anyway, so may as well get it out of the way. why wait exactly for what i know i must do. back in the day as still is the case, i tend to prefer one hour up because it means more sunshine and daylight. when you are a working person with long shifts it is dust to dawn or so it seems and appears.

spring and then summer is around the corner and i await both. it seems and feels as if the one hour up comes a whole lot quicker than it use to. now the other way is around october late it seems.

first day gets to me and then after that i get use to it.

the Tsunami in Japan, scary

scary about the storm that hit Japan last night on my time. the disaster in japan puts so much into perspective. watching buildings and cars, going into the water and all the destruction, just is scary. i feel there is more coming. countrys destruction, and leaders being forced into battling. you can feel that tension and it is spreading around. it feels like the last days of time. spritually things are out of sink. destroyed land and area is becoming common theme and the planet needs a new fresh kind of energy if it wants to maintain it's place. i think a wake up call is long overdue and people have to work together. have to make the planet a better place and safe. prayers are with the people and families,etc.. that are dealing with this latest trauma.

i phones,touch screens,etc.. don't appeal to me

i've goone to best buy and other outlets and seen these items and nothing about it says buy me. yes there are forms of technilogy that just don't appeal to me. aside from my cell phone having a ringtone and texting, i can get video, i prefer to keep my phone basic. i say why all the complication? thing is if i want alot of information at once i don't need a phone for that i just need a simple solution which means geting direct access by me finding myself. and the gadget flips so quickly within months these days, that what you got today is passe by 2-3 months later anyway. i embrace technilogy,however i don't need or want all that comes with it.

fat tuesday

Mardi Grais in america always a time to celebrate and have a good time. wonderful time of the year to feast and celebrate and eat and party. i remember taking in a party and it was one of those times when it appeared everything was magical and enlighten. feasts are special and memorable. the music and good times are meant to be a great time had by all. i would like to check out another one in the future.

Wes Leonard dying on the court Serina Williams blood clout

athletes as with any ordinary human being aren't going to avoid life's conditions. very tragic that the young basketball player Wes Leonard who played for Fennville in Michigan suffered a heart attack after hitting the game winning shot, his funneral is today. tennis legend Serina Williams found out she has a blood clout and had to have surgery. Leonard was only 16 and Williams is only 30, however reality and situations are very real. one never knows what can happen. now leonard was set to have an enlarged heart, we here of athletes dying young as with people in general in society and alot of the time we want to think it is drugs or anything, but the fact of it being there time. prayers go out to Leonard, his family and friends,teammates, and prayers and full recovery for Serina Williams.

why is Hucklebee dissing Natalie Portman for being pregnant? there are alot of single mothers across the country. why is Hucklebee targeting Portman for? i mean wasn't Sarah Palin's daughter all on dancing with stars? isn't she a Single Mom? selective targeting is always politically driven and motivated and what is the purpose does it serve in the long run? politicians and pop culture is twisted when an agenda and a target is used. i don't always see how this makes the news.

under the flu

what happens when you are feeling under the weather? different syntoms and reactions can and do occur and it is hard to remember how,when or where they came from. only if you had a mental database i'd say a mental screen to pinpoint what lead to said sickness and how much harder would we go to avoid said situation. my latest under the weather time lasted almost a week and i'm still puzzled when it really went down, because hands were washed plenty of times, drink lots of water, sleeping more, however what lead to this particular bout? mind you when one is under the weather don't we tend to do the right things such as sleeping and resting more?

just taking care of self as avoiding our own very well being. i listen to my grandmother telling me to keep a hat on my head, that is the first base covered whenever i hit the door. simple tasks can still be very challenging.

20 years later Rodney King

that video footage and the image of seeing a Black Man being beaten by the police just sent chills everywhere and it was scary then as it would be now. next year the verdict which I will talk on in a future blog, but for now that video tape is seen as a turning point in time and it reminds many of the racism and negativity of what has happen from the days of Slavery til now. Rodney King represents a time when caught on film was more than what alot of people wanted to admit or acknowledge then or now. we talk about going CLubbing to the CLub, not seeing somebody get clubbed beyond recall. i hope that there aren't any more Rodney King stories ever coming again, because that story was haunting and it reflects a sad chapter, problem is there has been the same story just repeating itself over and over again and again.

will the NFL strike?

despite another great year in football and the super bowl ending the year, there is a strong chance a strike is going to happen. what has to happen is a balance of a cap which works well for the owners and players. seems there is a gonna be a extension to hold out hope. nobody wants a longer season, aside from the NFL Comiss, thing is the game is at a all time peak and doing games yearly in London is incredible, but there always seems to be another hand wanting to hold back and not acknowledge all the tv revenue that is being generated. the NFL is very healthy, except in truth it doesn't really take care of it's own players and alot of players get older and have health issues that the NFL doesn't cover once said player's playing career is long ago over.

can't avoid him, if I want to watch the news, never mind war, sexism, Racism,homelessness, crime, countrys at war with one another, we are being hi jacked by the latest in Charlie Sheen's world. even if we don't want to, that train wreck is looking at you and not letting up. i gotta wonder why does Hollywood allow things to get so far out of hand, however as long as he brings in the viewership on his shows and his commericals hit, then everything is far game. every once in a while somebody comes along and shows you how to truly wild out in Hollywood. now CBS can't be too pleased nor the commerical sponsors, still we know that with some rehab and a cleaning out detox, Sheen will re-invent himself or self-destruct, one thing is for sure, the Media will keep the camera and eyes on him. we might not like it, however this is how the media and the powers that be work. all the channels and outlets and somebody comes along and the media makes you think they are capturing the imagination to as usual sweep under the carpet the real news.
