what really makes me feel well rested? funny how the body works and reacts, different ways of sleeping and exactly how many hours are needed to get to said freshness. i sometimes say oh i will sleep such and such long and then don't. it catches me when i chill in a chair and nod, but then again that has always been me. what is exactly the ultimate sleep and why less works better for some and more for others?

it has to do within the mind and its function,etc.. who knows how energy gets to you and you move and do what you do.

i sleep comfortably and well and water and relaxation play a big part.

Taco Bell not 100%Beef

makes me think of the old slogan where's the Beef? Taco Bell was found to have less than 40% natural Beef and really does it make a drastic difference? i mean the food is cool as quickly as you can digest it and wash it down. the food is tough for me and i can't say a 100% would make it even better. makes you wonder what other foods is using alot of different things to make it appear as a certain way.

i can't even say the last time I went to taco bell and this ain't gonna change my thoughts on the taco one way or the other,but this is a interesting discovery no doubt.

25 years ago the space shuttle went down

what a sad and scary sight that was to see back in 1986? the space shuttle was in route and it had started to take off and then exploded in air. a sad,sad, time and My heart and prayers went out to the families and friends who lost people that day. the Nasa family still reflects on that sad,sad day and time. it feels just like yesterday when my grandmother and I were sitting watching the shuttle take off and it exploded right before our eyes.

national football league and the national basketball association may be headed that way.

all of the revenue and whatnot being generated and two sides can't ever seem to come to an agreement.

both sides have valid points and both sides are in so deep.

i don't know when any form of entertainment goes on strike i ask why?

i mean costs just go up and nothing is ever fully resolved and it just means another work

stoppage is around the corner.

union reps from both sides plea and plea and then what?

as a pro sports fan i hope it doesn't happen, but i understand i think i do.

Pittsburgh and Green Bay in the super bowl

two historical teams battling it out for the trophy two weeks from tonight.

green bay beat chicago and pittsburgh beat the new york jets to advance to the super bowl in dallas,texas in two weeks. football season is always tough for me because i never want it to end.

so much fun and rooting your team on, also if you are into fantasy football that is wild. the playoffs. now i can't stand the corny pro bowl next week. that is so anti climatic and really doesn't serve alot of purpose to me.

but this super bowl features two great quarterbacks and great coaching. very well balanced teams here.

right now i'm pulling for pittsburgh,however this game could go either way,based on style and tempo.

super bowl time is like a holiday and i can't wait for it.

so many camera phones and so many aingles to choice and select from.

oh the days when just having a Polarid and taking a picture seem like a long distance memory.

the days of getting pictures back in a hour felt and seemed ground breaking. i still enjoy those ways of developing pictures. making the backdrop a must and having it done well

i love seeing the many possiblitys of it. so hard to pick a particular one that best captures it all.

cell phone has them and the pictures took are something.

and i believe it's gonna be even better with the onslaught of new technilogy.

tax return season

it is that time of the year when you start getting back what you made a year ago and of course all the services are being offered to handle your taxes. it is a business within a business and of course with paying taxes you have to be ready for it all. i make it a habbit of getting my taxes taken care as soon as possible and don't want to owe nothing. the tax game is a trip and how do you get something back. write offs and deductions are plenty to go after.

if you have worked for more than two places of business then you gotta wait on them all and then make those returns count. you always owe yourself something,

latest technilogy is scary

watching people having there credit cards in synch with there cell phones

to give up credit information,etc.. to me is a bit extreme, because you have to protect

what is yours and therefore it can be intercepted and used against you. how free and willing are you with that information? more things are used to break down cyber world and your own human

abilitys by the day it seems. some people have to feeling like robitic as quickly as you text, comes something that programs you credit and other data. erasing and deleting isn't just that simple and it takes your information to so many sources.

unreal at alll the technilogy we have in such a short amount of time.

new york jets and chicao bears won on sunday

the final four in the nfl is on. the new york jets will play the pittsburgh steelers for the right to go to the super bowl. in the nfc the green bay packers will play the chicago bears. looking forward to the final four and this outta be interesting and entertaining.

revenge games in both matchups. thus far teams facing the same teams in the post season, the other team has won. the jets and green bay each won the last time they faced pittsburgh and chicago respectively, however the post season is a whole different animal just ask tom brady and the new england patriots?

on any given sunday things can happen and tempo dictates it all.

football is the only sport where i just never get enough of it.

the technilogy with your tv is at a new high standard.
when so much new is added to make your vieewing pleasure that much more

clear and clear. it is truly a sight to see and then some. oh the days and nights

of the old black and white tv and trying to make it work. adjusting and shifting

things. then a nice color tv set and so on and so forth.

so if i watch a show or event on cable i expect to get a strong clear picture.

what about with local tv channels?

for one and for all right?

you'd assume and yet the way tv and the powers that be still manipulate

and try to maintain that only a handful of folks have access to this,etc..

is so tired. we all outta be on or near the same page with things and yet

you can be one whole channel from having upper tier quality, it is a blinking

no matter where we are thank you for the leadership

of this great man, who sacrificed for us all, for a better today,tommorow

and future. he wasn't alone as there were countless other people who gave of themselves

however he was a trailblazer for change. we live in a world often at times hate,poverty,isms and

fear dominate and dictate and he was about unitying souls and spirits as one and the same.

how hungry are you and a job is a job

often and remembering as a kid that the phrase was if you want to eat, then you gotta work.

seems to be lost with some folks protesting what they won't do or rolling there eyes or acting to good to take a certain job. last time i checked jobs can be tough for some folks to come by, recession ain't no joke and alot of people been out of work for a good minute.

in all lines of work, now the term it ain't what you know, but who you know really hits home more than ever.

the economy is in a mess and yet the divide between the haves and have nots is wide,and yet we always have hope.

thing is to never look down on anyone because we are all one pay day away from either hitting or sinking.

bcs bowl game was good Auborn and Oregon

now i do feel that Tcu out to get a say on the title because they were undefeated, however the game monday night between Auborn and Oregon was really good and it came down to the wire.

if you wanted drama you got it. a fantastic finish you got. Cam Newton not only the heisman trophy winner of this year, but also a very clutch player. gotta give oregon there due because they clawed and fought back to tie the game.

i'd still like a 8 team playoff system because college has way too many meaningless bowls and 4 that truly count.

every year some teams gets the short end of the stick and this year it is tcu and i remember back in the day when it happen to auborn. thing is, with parity as the norm the prestege schools no longer carry that weight,so things do happen and yet they still feel the same go figure.

what do you do with snow?

it is that tim of the year and the snow has fallen. as kids it meant a off day from school

as a grown up it means getting what you need getting by any means necessary. cold weather

and uncomfortable conditions are just part of the drill. grocery shopping, transportation and just getting what you need in case of an emergency.

what makes a 22 year old man, open fire on innocent people? why is politics driving people crazy. the tragedy over the weekend is another reminder of so much ill effects we face and deal with daily.

could this have been prevented? why is America still so violent? what makes a young man destroy so many lives and have so much rage and be so angry?

and now Sarah Palin is having to do a 180 in all of this. public opinions and events. bitterness rears it's ugly head.

the family whom lost there daughter who irony of all irony was born on 9-01-11. prayers and sentiments go to all who lost loved ones and felt the impact of this senseless crime.

i personally can't stand politics. for a nation as rich and rich in culture why still the need to divide and conquer?

Baltimore and Green Bay won there football games

today in the playoffs, no surprise about baltimore beating kansas city to me. i figured the ravens defense was gonna be too much and sure enough they whipped up on kc.

green bay beat michael vick and the eagles today. green bay is a very dangerous team and they controled the tempo today. i applaud michael vick and his season.

next week the new york jets play against new england

baltimore faces pittsburgh in the afc games.

in the nfc

atlanta and green bay battle

chicago and seattle face each other.

this is gonna be a great post season in the nfl.

Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets win post season thrillers

now how many people actually had the Seattle Seahawks winning against the super bowl champs new orleans saints today?

talk about a win for the ages. qb matt hasselback played his best football in years and seahawks running back mashawn lynch made an incredible late game run, which sealed the deal in the wild and fun 41-36 seahawks victory.

they balled tonight.

the new york jets beat payton manning and the colts and kept them home in the process.

rex ryan the jets coach has been popping his gums about his team, and tonight his mouth cashed a solid check,

this was just day one, if this is any indication than the post season is gonna be off the bar b que pit.

irony that both super bowl teams from last year are now eliminated.

it's winter

never knowing how the weather is gonna be

this particular time of the year.

some parts of the country are extremely cold and alot of snow

other parts it is between a mixture of rain,snow and heavy winds.

i always dig the places that get a warmer than expected winter.

for instance out where i live last winter was quite nice.

we talking 40-60 range during the day sometime.

of course night time is when you pay the price.

but thus far the real snow hit my area before thanksgiving

we will see what happens next, thus far alot of rain

which i'll gladly take.

and the man has a voice that radio needs. i grew up during a time when a DJ was like family.

you heard and listened to every word and detail. after the monopoly of clear channel took over

radio lost it's personality and we get alot of faceless/voiceless folks who are robots to the same 9-12 songs hourly.

so this is a great story of the comeback and no matter how bad things appear at times,prayers are heard and answered.

huckleyberry fin needs to drop the "N" word

Mark Twain might have respect for his writings, but having the "N" word

in a book is dis respectful and full of hate. then again when the music industry,hollywood

movies,etc.. dress it up and toss it around, then this book series seem meek by comparrison.

thing is, no class room truly wants to deal or hear the "N" word said so loud.

sad part, it has been said and used in so many ways, that while thee out to a protest

about it, the term is used a ways to maintain a certain level of control.

i say if you keep the word in the book, then explain slavery.

explain racism, with economics.

the book needs to be updated and the book to me has always

been offensive to me.

College Bowl games out to be on network tv

i can't stand Espn playing monopoly with bowl games

that ought to be on the major networks.

when you have bowl games on cble it only points

to the crazy money the school's are being paid out.

can't possibly not say, there isn't money being made.

Espn is controling things and the stakes are high,high.

it makes no sense and just comes of greedy to me.

college football players, basketball and baseball out to be

getting paid. to me it is a no brainer with all the endorsers and

money being made hand over fist.

bowl games on tv college

i feel college football players and college student athletes out to be paid. the commercial endorsements for these bowl games is something else. i mean there are so many bowl games, which last a the course to almost two full weeks.

the bowls that i grew up on had five that counted and another 5-7 as side dishes. but now there are way so many bowls and the school even on a broke bowl stands to make close to a million dollars.

this sends a uneven message because the lines off education and entertainment are blurred. how are students who have agents and recieve gifts punished, when the schools are cashing in off of them? that to me is a plantation mentality and there outta be a reward for playing a sport that has serious risks and brings the schools much revenue.
