you caught me under a christmas tree

tears poured and no amount of tissues could hide

my emotions upon this down pour

sitting here in the dark

remember when all it took

was a smile and filling a glass with ice cubes

soft ice cream and a strawberry in winter time

was a float and dream like

no bubbles were burst

and no tables were turned
