thunder and night

we spent alot of time hearing songs that spoke

of shallow winds and even narrow minded roads

where did i turn into this view for and why is it

raining on my walk way when i already plan to avoid

stepping into that area?

what gives for that again?

but then again why must i wait until the storm is cleared

to make situations better when they appear to be bleak??

all the undertones that project a dark negativity

in the light they are erased and there is hope

where does the bell ring

school started in many moments

but it wasn't school like going to a class per se

but it was a training in session

during my visit of life

words,wisdom and wit made me aware

but like a buyer of new property

i dared to be cautious

nothing started and nothing finished

bridges and bruises create a world

and the sound shalll ring and

another day starts

where your flowers grow

come and open your heart and soul

be the reasoning of gold and speak to my

groove and understand what makes me click

all the pretty roses have a smile when they think of you

full bloom and then water came forth

all the smells of nature sprinkled and flowed

what a sight and joy to embrace the fruits of

a garden that was rich and textured in

all wordly purity

all about the beauty

take me BACK to the maddness

take me back to the horror

take me back to the tears and fears

take me back to voices that didn't see

tommorow and had to sadly say goodbye

take me back to a time when the world was quiet

and everybody wanted and cared

if only for the moment

nothing else mattered and everything did all

at once

salute to education

feed my mind

start off the day with breakfast

take me down the street to math, science, reading

set me up to better learn the english language

back to school and back to challenging your mind

back to working and maintaining what you want

to establish

brain power and will power are what endure

the soul and the mind

make yourself proud and say it out loud

learn all you can and always keep your mind

open to life

runnin like a window

that is open and allows air thru

back by the stove warmth dictates the surface

was i prepared for what came next bare handed?

story goes that timing is everything and only so much

gets done and everything else is patience

but nobody wants to be called slow or indifferent

so why was coming in third place so cool again?

even second was forgotten this time

you made me smile

fell into a trance and chased all the miracles

i was told that i could endure all at once

smiling and enjoying the perfume and all the

greatness of what made me laugh when i think

of good times and while it rained and the potatoes

turned colors i was so happy to see you telling

jokes that made the boat ride entertaining

and while the water and surroundings were cold

the good nature of smiles and feeling good

made it all worth it's weight in gold

went to the mental world of surface

find my inner dare and see where

i was last seen

glimpse of a moon that is overheard

shouting at me and telling me what color

the sky above me is presenting

though i long to hear what sounds

are coming toward me

a bargin is struck that generates

a mini beat like a ringtone

hear the waves and be part of it

where has the moments of grace

taken me thus far that i haven't
