whom was it for and what did it mean

i asked and didn't have a message to say

i was caught off guard by your emotions

hadn't occured to me that you were truly in

something with me that the planet hadn't

heard come from my mouth and yet

you were there

talked to you all night and begged for your return

the next day and yet i felt i missed on telling you

how i felt and what it meant during those hours,minutes

and seconds
