Suddenly

voices no longer scream at you

no longer are you the poster child of what is wrong

with the whole world and the surroundings

what made you not dream when it appeared

others were bringing forth nightmares

when did the stars not become a galaxy of one

but everybody wanted to tell you how the earth

should spin and how you should respond

what becomes of your wishes from now on?
