tying shoes

imagine if you will

no laces and no movement

from the shoe,as open

as a brain without any food for thought

going back and reflecting what got the shoes

in motion and headed toward the door

much like taking 3 steps forward and then 2 back

it's serious and yet it all adds up

the shoe and knot need direction as does

the soul
