Valentines day is overrated when you are alone

funny how when cupid is showing you all those fuzzy feelings and sentiments the world is at your feet, but when it's not going your way then you are looking blank and can't find anything to get excited about. so what becomes of a heart that got tore up? what makes you think and feel that you are the only one dealing with pain when it comes to the personal side on this particular time of the year. but it seems to be something that truly stays within the mind set and never lets up. all the money and chocolate candy and flowers when you are watching from the other side of it alone, makes this time of the year seem so long and tired. it feels like one of the longest days of the whole year and it never ends.but times won't always be as such.
