the Oscars are tonight

Febuary Is the month of the super bowl and also the award season in music and film and tonight is the Oscars which is so long it seems that last year's show is still going on. and most folks forget who win but they remember who wore what and who they were with. the oscars once upon a time interested me,but that has been so long ago. they still are selective when it comes to awarding African-American Men and women awards and forget about when it comes to Black directors. i tend to just watch highlights when it comes to the show. unless something truly catches my eye i find the show very boring and so predictable. i doubt i'll be watching,but i might catch some parts mainly for best acting, actress and picture. but i don't know. there are hardly any surprises come oscar time and also they tend to favor films that are considered art films and they tend to downplay the more successful film and like any other corperate driven industry they have there politics and favoreds.
