Black History Month

Febuary is Black History Month and this Year is special because of the First Black President Barack Obama. what a wonderful time to reflect on a this Rich Nation and also the History of Black People who have made America that much stronger in so many fields of life and in everyday life. 400 plus Years. foremothers and forefathers who paved the way and made it possible for myself and a whole future Generations to eat,drink and buy and do whatever in this country because of changes. a history that touches on so many great contributions and so much more that needs to be taught at school on all grade levels. so many African-American firsts and so much that needs to be discussed and told to all people.the Media has often distorted the image of African-Americans and public perception in general. this is a New day and chapter in Black History Month. explore and learn and educate yourself because I still learn something new every day about my culture.
