music plays as I reflect and my soul is remembering

the words that were spoken and i tend to only stare at the pictures

where you showed me uplift and drive

many a night the Jazz, Blues and R&B that made the Gospel

of Our ears was directly mentioned in our conversations and they never changed

heart to heart talks and going back in time and maintaining a current mindset

lead to a jam session of the minds that is forever timeless and i will miss the notes

from your soul and heart that played notes and had changes that my mind needed

to prepare and the teacher taught the student quite well
