upon friday

when the moment struck i had a stare
that reached all over my face

and then as the lights deemed so slowly

it dawned on me that a week had come and gone

and where did it all seem to go and where did the next one

start? things fell apart and i couldn't repair the distance

from within a lost and troubled Heart

and then a time came and ended and it made me feel

that the tunnel wasn't as bleak as it once seemed only

a day or so ago and now the show shall go on
