feels and dreams

upon the streets i walk and look for a sign to remember

in the dark area of space i haven't found the meaning

of what life can spell and i have to look into the sky

for a message and seek words that direct my being

where can i just allow my mind to explore and be carefree?

is everything a price tag or is there a happy medium that

brings joy and melts away the bitterness?

so i awake and dare my mind to expand

and the green grass grows and leads me to a field

and i'm better for it
