packed supermarkets on a saturday

it was a trip going to the supermarket today trying to get grocerys and just finding a spot in line and putting items on the counter. so much activity going on and not a moment to lose track of your place,etc... now I wanted to shop and be ready to get in and get out, but the store was wall to wall packed and it seemed like it would take a good hour to get a move on. it seemed no matter where i went shopping at the shops were jam packed on both sides of the city. i wanted to just make a dash but with traffic driving slow because of the snow and un-seen ice. but anyway it made for a memorable day and time. the most important thing is to get home safe and sound. the weather is 15-20 degrees and trying to stay warm.breezy and windy and hauling to get in a warm spot is the most important thing needed to do on this day and for that matter this week.
