in my humor

make me laugh you say

make me smile at all costs

make me break out in a roar

as if life was full of non stop

jokes and so it is in it's own way

but still another day of watching

the four wall and staring into space

and I need a reminder of that joy

when all you do is paint a picture of

happier times and even in down times

laughs are the best medicine and are

free and that is the one present

that doesn't need to be hidden

when you can just laugh
