despite layoffs people are feeling holiday spirit

as i go past my place and also going around town i noticed alot of people into the holiday spirit. no layoffs and jobs are being taken away left and right and this is truly a sad time where the economy is concearned and whatnot, but it is still refreshing and good to see so many people in the holiday mood and bringing forth good wishes and cheers. money is tight and places are folding and jobs are going by the waistside. the depression of many a moon gone by is being felt throughout the nation and president elect Barack Obama has said that matters will be worse before they are better. it truly is a sad,sad day and time and despite all of that hen you see folks in the holiday spirit and mood it has to touch and lift your spirits up a bit.
