power of a new day

yesterday i didn't see the sun but today

i arrived and felt the warmth of laughter

went to a store and found so much joy upon

allowing my mind to see many incredible

displays of emotions and also felt pure

delight in the moments that smiled back at me

when did i ever stop dreaming? who says you are

too old to still want and have things?

appreciating the dream and also creating better days

ahead
