Bernie Mack and Isaac hayes both died this weekend

talk about a 1-2 combination that knocked me out? death is never easy to take be it family, friends or someone that you pay attention to,etc... yesterday hearing that Bernie Mack the Comedian had died at only age 50 truly caught me off guard. I knew he was sick but didn't know how serious. back in the early 90's I use to watch Bernie Mack rock the stage on the Old Def Comedy Jam on HBO. He truly had a Pressence and He would crack your sides up. He was a straight up cat and said what he felt and what moved him. just recently he did a routine at a charity for Presidential Nominee Barack Obama a fellow Chicago Native and in true B Mack Fashion he came uncut and did his thing. he made movies had his own successful TV show which lasted 5 years on the fox network. He also was on the Kings of Comedy tour which was very successful. He truly made a impression. He was something else.


Isaac Hayes Oscar,grammy Winner and a soulful Talent that as a Songwriter penned alot of tracks on the Stax label. He wrote for Sam and Dave and the Emotions amongest others back in the day. a very strong distinctive deep voice that earned him a Oscar for the Original score and writing for the "Shaft" soundtrack. He made films such as "truck turner" did tv shows such as the rockford files and later in his career to a whole new generation he was known as Chef on the hit show South Park. also known for his Scientology Beliefs. the Man was something else as a Artist and he is Underrated to me because his arrangements, Productions and his depth hasn't gotten it's full just due. He was 65.
