what is the message in the night?

what is the saying in the day time

as the rock and roll of heavy thumps

comes tapping down over my window pain?

the lightening is fast and intense

it zaps through the collective eyes

out of sight and out of mind

cut all the lights out and call it a night

whispers of foremothers and forefathers

speak of a Message from above that says

words are being spoken and to respect and

obey in the stationary of Peace and quiet

observe the silence and reflect on the

words without open expression
