the sad reality of the James Brown Auction
this is really a sad reality. the auction sold alot of his items and it didn't make what was expected though alot of people came out for it,but the real saddness to me is the actually selling of his Product. I mean I was hoping that somebody who is a fan or somebody that can truly appreciate what he meant could Properly return the the items that are as much a part of his Legacy. of course the family issues where Money comes into play once a loved one has died is there and this is a Mess. somehow the Godfather of Soul deserved to be better well preserved to me. how do you auction off his capes,shoes,etc... and just treat it as another auction? I mean somehow you'd expect folks who were close to James Brown or fans of his work to chip in and keep the Property on the Man's Estate where it truly belongs or in a special place to truly be appreciated.
