Lil wayne debuts 1 million Ice T vs Souljah Boy

Lil wayne did something that so few artists in the history of Music have done and that is debut at number 1 with a million copies in week one. now I'm not a fan of Weezy and don't see what the hype is,but I do respect his hustle and his Grind on the mix tapes and also the many guest spots he has done. the accomplishment speaks to a artist who is in tune with his audience and also he gave the people what they wanted and at the end of the day no matter where you stand on any act if they bring the goods for there audience then you get the results you seek out. Lil Wayne been around a long time and finally hit his stride. I ain't feeling that album.

Ice T vs Souljah Boy this is a funny and off the wall on so many levels. the war of words has started between the vet and the new jack. Ice T said that Souljah Boy was the worst thing for Hip-Hop and SOuljah Boy called Ice T old and basically corny. i find them both wack, but I side more with Souljah Boy because Ice T ain't got no business going at this kid who had a hot dance out. most folks remember Ice T for a Hot Comb. Ice T musically ain't counted since Rodney King was supporting a Karl Malone home made Jerri Curl saying "can we all get along"? Ice T was the kind of rapper who had a few cool jams but he was a time period act who wanted to offend everybody, but he also wanted to be loved by everybody. his kind of contradiction was a headache into itself. Souljah Boy is doing pretty much what MC Hammer was doing back in the day and given the people something to be entertained by. Souljah Boy though however has a stake in his records and he ain't a company puppet. it took Ice T many years until he had rights on his work. ICe T. got more attention for his work with his side project act Body Count and the song"Cop Killa" which had former Vice President Dan Quyale and George Bush all coming after him. not to mention Charleton Heston who was a major shareholder in warner brothers. Ice t lost his project and his deal with warners after that episode back in 92. but Ice T did well on TV and film. but seeing this whole exchange cracked me up. watching them both get there clown on. this ain't even a legit beef or worth the send back messages that are popping off,but it is funny to laugh at. good lawd i needed a good laugh and this did the cure. Souljah Boy got all the makings of a few hit wonder, but I say let the kid have his time to shine. Ice T had his day in the sun and sipped on the Lipton Tea. dude needs to chill and offer advice. you can somebody is wack and let it go as to act like there is more to it.
