Detriot Red Wings win the Stanley cup

the red wings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins to win the game 3-2 and also win there 4th stanley cup in 11 years. incredible series and the ratings are back for Hockey. Pittsburgh has a great young superstar in Sidney Crosby who I believe will see many more trips to the finals and there will be his time to hold a trophy over his head. the penguins almost came back and were so short of putting a puck in but came up short. i haven't been much of a hockey fan beyond great players but this kind of series got my interest and if the Hockey league can have the best of the best battling for a championship then I'm watching. alot of people wanted the series to go 7 games but yesterday was the finale. well now we have the NBA finals so hopefully that series will match the hype and buzz that this year's Stanley cup did.
