Thriller is 25 years old this week

first and foremost Michael Jackson is a Musical Genius and a Mount Rushmore Artist and Icon to me and always will be. always down with MJ. this Album forever chanced my life because it came along at a important time period for me. I mean to this day hearing "Billie Jean" and Wanna Be Startin Somethin" still move me. together with Quincy Jones,Michael Jackson created a album that not only was made in a Particular time period, but influenced Generations there after and still does. "Thriller" might arguably be the Greatest Album ever Made. and the sales were mind boggling. all due respect to the Eagles who the RIAA says Sold more copies in the United States with there greatest hits collection from 1971-1975,but there album ain't touching no Thriller. Thriller wasn't just a Album, but a Lifestyle. Michael Jackson touched people all over the World and all ages, races and Backgrounds. the Music and Songs on the Album spoke on so many things. Michael Jackson forever changed the Music expereince for so many people back in the day. Thriller was like the Holla Hop, Viewmaster, and the I-Pod or Computers of it's time. every once in a while a event comes along that just captures the imagination of the Whole World and "Thriller" was that album. all the videos, Motown 25 and the Commericals and more importantly the Vocal Genius and Creative fire that is Michael Jackson made the Whole World feel it. His Impact on Pop Culture is timeless. so many acts are forever in his debt. to Me all Musical Acts that come after him and do Popular Music are eating off his plate. He is that Powerful and left that kind of Impact with a Album that appealed and touched on so many levels. oh the Many Penny Loafers I have had over the years and the many copies and times I played that Album over and over. the Versatility and depth of this Album still gets me Hyped after all of these Years. the Album was Incredible., it wasn't about the Dark Shades, Glitter Glove, High Water Pants, the various jackets,Moonwalking or anything else but the Music. that is what a Classic Album does for you. Human Nature, the Lady in my life, Beat it, Billie Jean, Baby Be Mine,,Thriller, PYT Pretty young thing, Wanna Be Startin something, 7 out of those 9 songs were top ten hits. MichaelMania was unlike anything I have seen before or since. so many Memorys shared and had upon reflecting on this Classic Album. in truth I do miss the days when Michael Jackson ruled the airwaves. this album stayed on my player and to this day I keep it nearby and always will. what a fantastic Creative time and Great Music and Sentiments for the Soul and to dance and reflect to. Props always to the King Of Pop. still remembering going to the Music store to get my copys.
