Overstock ceo and Bounty Hunter get real racist

the overstock.com ceo Patrick Byrnes made some strong headlines recently with his comments that in his home state of Utah that if Minoritys don't finish High School they might as well be burned or thrown away. interesting thing is that 11 percent of population there is Hispanic and only 1 percent is black. a Whopping 83.5 percent are White. dude has some major insecuritys and issues, but it never stops no matter what the Profession. the NAacp Asked him to say he was sorry and he refused to. at least he is honest with his true feelings. more often than not folks sugar-coat there true feelings on race related topics and sentiments.

next up Duane "Dog" Chapman the Bounty Hunter who was heard on the phone talking to his son who is dating a Black Young Lady and Doug repeatedly used the N word and then he tried to downplay it and then said he was sorry. Bounty Hunter comes on weekly on the A&E channel.
ask me if I'm surprised or shocked?? I will tell you never. Black folks been America over 400 plus years and still ain't never got a Apology or sense of being included in the creation and Power that is America. far as I'm concearned Chapman, overstock ceo and others are no different than Don Imus, Michael Richards or the Exxon folks or Denny's Ceo's and others that allow this kind of racism and whatnot to be accepted in the Work place and beyond.

this is why I crack up when folks try to tell me with a straight face that Barrack Obhama has a chance at winning the presidency and getting into the White house. I try to tell some folks you need to learn your history and understand how things truly happen and go down in America because it ain't gonna happen.

all these Noose incidents going down just are the extra topping to being a reminder of though it's 2007 the mindset ain't much better than 1907 in alot of ways. scary times and reality always finds a way to rear it's ugly head.

with all due respect, who cares what these men said and think? quite frankly, it's up to black and brown people to shatter their expectations (or rather, under-expectations) of us. we will never rid the world or this country of every semblance of racism or any other -ism. our best bet is stop whining and worrying about what the other guy is saying or doing and start getting serious about doing our thing. then they won't have nothing to complain about except why our kids are outperforming theirs (among other possible achievements)?
