if Nas had the N Word as a album title
so Nas is flirting with saying his next album will be called after the N Word. I don't think he is challenging Dick Gregory the noted Comedian,Civil Rights Marcher and a Man who truly made a strong point when he made a Book with the title. now it's not like Nas will ever make a Marvin Gaye type of "What's going On" Project. this to me is more for shock value. He is getting attention which he wants. Bill O'Reilly and the Fox gang who loves to take shots at Nas. I ask a Artist though why would you even imply a title as such and know the kind of reaction you are gonna get? I know Nas likes attention. his last album "Hip-Hop Is dead" was so-so to me. He hasn't been the same since the mid to almost late 90's. the Man is Blessed with strong lyrical skills and can still battle, but he also has come across gimmicky as well alot of the time which to me has hurt his place as a Rapper in the big picture. but if Nas does have the N word as a Album title then I don't see the Problem from the stand-point that the word is used left and right and the Industry won't stop letting it being used. all Races have heard and used the word world-wide. nothing has been censored and not everybody is cool with that. when Art reflects real Life Human Beings who don't like being labeled when will that line be drawn and not be used as a term of endearment but also a word that has negativity vibe and a long standing of Pain and a Ugly reminder of the past. no matter how you dress it up or play it up a showbiz tactic isn't always something you can embrace and shrug off,but in the corperate World it's another day at the office. and the Hype and PR starts. LA Reid the President of Def Jam Records where Nas records says no new album from Nas is due and certainly not this title, but what does that say about free Publicity??
