Kobe Bryant and Alex Rodriquez who you got?

i ask this question because these two Athletes are arguably the two best in there respective sports. both are larger than Life SPorts Icon,but there is the Love/Hate both these guys get from People some of it is just general hate and the rest is brought on by there actions. Rodriquez waited until the world series this past Sunday to announce he was opting out of his contract with the New York Yankees and the final three years on the deal. He just always seems ready to have people talking about them.

Kobe Bryant will he be traded from the Lakers real soon? it's no longer crazy talk because it is only a matter of time now. Kobe was embraced and loved by the Lakers through his court case, then when the Lakers(like dummys) traded away Shaquille O'Neal. even during that time in 04 Kobe was threatening on leaving the Lakers. even through his Number change from 8 to 24 and everything else in between. Kobe is One of the Greatest Players Ever, but not the smartest or most enlighten cat though. He had it all with Shaq. three straight Championships and four finals appearences in five years. i think he is the Kid who had too much too soon and now reality of time is starting to hit him directly.

Alex Rodriquez equally Great in Baseball just never could measure up to Derek Jeter while with the Yankees. A-Rod is One of the Greatest Baseball Players Ever,but unlikke Bryant who has championship rings, A-Rod has never gotten even close. his numbers as a Hitter and his Pay Days dominate so much.

hard too Rot for Great Players who just come across like spolied Brats alot of the time.
i can and have always seperated the two because I can respect anybodys Talent, but I can't get down with cats who just do so many dumb little mental things that are so tacky.
these two Great Athletes should be embraced for there Greatness, and yet no matter how much you enjoy what they do, there is always that But fill in the blank.

one thing is for sure fans will always keep a eye on them and haters will always have the I told you so look. the duel vibe comes with there territory.

i find this to be a pain in the booty. i mean calls left and right and I'm thinking somebody has been calling,but it's just the same telemarketing trolls bothering all day long calling for non-sense. even with caller ID and telling these turkeys to chill with all the calling it just won't stop. i often wonder what it must feel like to work at a place like that and just be a pest half the day? i understand folks gotta eat to Work, but this is just bothersome and pesky. you can call them back and they will have you on hold. these bums call and sometimes when I say hello they don't say a thing. all they do is rotate to other telemarkerters and play phone tag. ring a round the rosey and there job is to make your head dizzy and miserable on alot of levels. i wish i could find a number to block these fools, but knowing them they would get a gig at a phone company or a cell phone gig and say hey! remember me? if People are interested in what they want to sell or promote then let the customer come to you and not the other way.

very interesting sports weekend

that football game in england last night stunk. the New York Giants were easily the better team out of them and the Miami dolphins. the Poor Dolphins can't win in america let alone anywhere in the world it seems. the game was sloppy and just brutal to the eyes. the most memorable moment of the game was the dude who was streaking. that about sums up a sloppy game in the rain and mud with one team New York which is a good team and then Miami who is Horrible.

the World Series the Boston Red Sox's swept the Colorado Rockies. and while i like a few cats on the team, I could careless about Boston. Yankee fan ain't rooting for no Redsox's.

the San Diego Chargers beat the Houston Texans on Sunday in san diego but more importantly it was played in San Diego and the Governor flipped gthe coin and the fire department and the People of San Diego got properly acknowledged for coming together. the fires in the San Diego Area were scary.

getting ready for trick or treat

yeah every year gotta get ready for the trick or treat of Halloween and everything that comes with it. I went to a local thrift store and the place was packed. folks in there were looking for costumes and various ways of creativity to wear either for partys this past weekend or wednesday which is Halloween night. this is treated like a Holiday and folks really get into it. I have had quite a few memorable Halloween nights. always loading up on candy and a steady bag to collect. back in my Neighborhood we use to joke but there was truth that watch out for razor blades inside the candy. depending on where you live, you never know what is gonna go into your bag. October feels and looks great this year. the leaves are cool to view especially on days when you have nothing going on. always have had a good time on this particular time of the year. knocking on doors and watching people say here you go. there is always that feeling when you knock on a door and you are gonna get a treat, big difference as to the people who have to make there living going door to door. halloween makes me appreciate the door to door business person. most people are friendly on this particular time of the year and yet alot of them might not ever come directly to your door just to say hello. now it is called trick or treat for a reason huh?

NFL Football in London

well the NFL has the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins playing tommorow in London,England which will be a yearly match up. the National Football League just hasn't taken off in europe like that. it evens out because Soccor hasn't ever fully caught on in the United States either. if they must send two Nfl teams to London then let it be two teams that are somewhat even. the New York Giants are 5 and 2 while the Miami Dolphins are o and 7. not exactly two teams that you want to see play in any country or time difference. i'm sure going into featuring two teams to represent that the game in England that no one had any idea how lopsided at least on record thus far this game was gonna look and be. if done in hindsight I'm sure another team to go against the New York Giants would have been picked. but it is now what it is. i think so much is going into trying to sell the game globally,but the NFL isn't the item that the NBA or Major League baseball is overseas. the NFl rules in America,but with more exposure and maybe in time it might become big. I don't want the super bowl over there though. a game or so,but nothing beyond and a game like this might be a scary if the records reflect the two teams going into it have.

five years later the DC Snipers

hard to believe it's been five years since the DC Snipers were doing alot of scary tactics and putting alot of lives into fear. they came from not to far from where i live and that is scary. I think the biggest thing that caught people off guard was that they are Black. nobody was looking for two Black cats. the Boy in this case who I called Baby snipes was just used as a Pawn by the main Sniper. it's truly sad and hard to imagine and believe that it has been five years already. reading and seeing those horrible events truly left me speechless. the Younger cat truly never had anybody to look up to or lead him in a Postive light and if you can't think for yourself then sometimes somebody else can think and lead you into any and everything. there is a leason to be learned and i send out prayers to all the familys that lost love ones behind this tragedy. very sad and Unfortunate events that forever changed lives and effected so many others. BET this past week ran a special on the DC Snipers and CNN recently had info on the two Snipers who are both in seperate Prisons. it's truly sad and what leads to somebody destroying and harming life on this grand of a scale?

Noose's being presented like nobody's business

America is looking even more racist than ever. the latest is the Noose around the late Rapper Tupac Shakur's statue. I mean what is going on here and why do folks still deny the obvious blatant Racism that still is widely going on?? i mean every since the Jena 6 case and the Nooses in the tree at the High School then there has been a copy cat thing going on which is sad and very sickening. this reflects a deep form of racism that is trying to use scare tactics and create a certain amount of fear. this isn't getting near enough media attention it needs. i mean in 2007 nobody knows how these things are just popping up left and right? nobody sees nothing or knows nothing as these Nooses pop up to various Black People's business and places. i mean what makes people hate of this magnitude? it speaks to the Superority Complex that continues on America. it's hard to explain to a child why people are bringing Nooses and using racist language to frighten and Scare Black People. it needs to stop. why would anyone try to use Tupac as a Statement to express there Hate? what is the point of this tactics? Jena 6 is horrible and those Boys are Political Prisoneers to me. what is going on in Lousiana is a Mockery of the Justice system.

if you could talk to somebody before they died what would you ask them or tell them? this show is interesting in that it explores a life and hearing a final word or thoughts. it makes me wonder if you could have one last conversation with someone close to you, it could be a Human, it could be a Pet what would do differently and Why? I think so often so many things tend to end on a sour note or you always say if I had only said that I love so and so more or I wish i had have done this or that. some folks die innocently killed without having a final word and this show explores that. how many voiceless people who die of untimely deaths never have there final word? I mean i respect a tv show that goes there and asks what if and what it would mean. to hear a voice one more time and having a final word is powerful. the power of words and they are endless. this makes for a enlightenment.

the California fires

the California fires ain't no joke. so many people have had to flee there homes as so many homes and Propertys have gone up in flames. this fire is effecting all of Southern California and leavign a sstrong smokey overview from the clouds. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has said he expects another 68.000 thousand homes to be in a blaze. President Bush is due to arrive in California this coming thursday. this is like Hurricane Katrina in that so many lives are depending on federal assitance. i bet Bush and company don't mess this one up? Mother nature is swirling strong winds and the fires are powerful. this is one of the biggest Evacuations ever and it is effecting everything and it puts a point of people coming together and taken care of one another. these fires and these Senerios are all realitys and how you deal with them and fellow human beings goes a long way in bringing the community and areas afftected by this situation. thoughts, Prayers and Unity go out to all the familys dealing with this crisis in California and also prayers and thoughts to relatives and associates of people who are dealing with this situation.

colorado versus Boston in the World Series

it is that time of the year again. Baseball has been one wild and trip out ride this year and now it is World Series time. off the Bat, no pun intended I'm pulling for Colorado to Win. you know I'm a New York Yankees fan and I ain't ever gonna root for no redsox's though I do like Manny Rameriez and David Ortiz. Colorado is a special story considering they have never been this far in the post season and also they were almost forgotten from even thinking about the post season just a month ago. they have been on a incredible run to get here. Boston came from a 3 games to 1 deficit to beat Cleaveland this past week. Colorado swept there way to the World Series. the weather conditions are gonna be interesting especially in Colorado where Snow is expected and cold conditions,but this is gonna be a intersting World Series to say the least.

Tyler Perry another successful film

well last week Tyler Perry's film "why did I get married" was the number film in the country and that speaks volumes and yet it still feels as if Tyler Perry is ignored in Hollywood. Tyler Perry is a breath of fresh air in the film world to me. He makes uplifting Black themed films that showcase Black People in all walks of life. racist Hollywood wants to always make Black films based on thugging, drugging, Mugging, Pimping, Hustling and Macking. you hardly ever get to see Black films on a Main big studio side where Black life gets alot of sides. Tyler Perry gets dap from me. I appreciate the fact that he has his own vision and ideas. he is a counter out of Left field to the standards that Hollywood wants to Portray Black life in film as being. now there are other many other Black film-makers doing there thing and doing it quite well, but right now Tyler Perry is on the pulse of what is happening and he is making things happen in a big way. film is very important to me and as a Black Man it isstill exciting to me to see a Soul brother that can do his thing on his own terms and style and bring in that loot and yet keep that vibe and Be cool. he is doing film, stage, books,etc... He is a One man industry. Props to Tyler Perry.

it isn't everyday that you can call a company to cancel a Subscribtion and talk to somebody that has a real personality and that you can relate to. I mean I canceled a magazine subscribtion recently and the Woman on the other end felt and talked like down home folks. She was cool peoples and we talked on a variety of topics and it felt good just to have conversation. more often than not you don't have communication that feels real. alot of the time it feels forced and read off a script. now they do tell you that the conversation might be recorded and you expect that. now in the past if one of these phone folks gets on my nerves i let them have it. but this conversation was cool and it felt good. sometimes a good solid conversation can lift your day and a voice that you can relate to can speak to your soul. you might not ever hear from that person again,but that moment in time can truly move you.

unwanted e-mail

what do you do when you get over amounts of E-mail that is you just spend half your time spamming? all the offers to make crazy money. emails from whomever who talks to you and asks you can you keep this money or set up a account. I mean it is so funny that i have to laugh and then delete ASAP. all kinds of things come through the mail and then i forget all about it. Junk Mail in the Mail in the Old days was a slam dunk to the trash can, but this mess just keeps on coming back like people at a good ole fashion sunday dinner house party where the food is slamming and the plate keeps on coming back. so when you hit the trash bin of your computer un like when the garbage man comes to throw away your garbage on tuesday or friday or whatever how many days it is picked up, this mess keeps on coming back again and again. it's never ending. the novelty wears out quickly. funny thing is that no matter where you go Spam follows you and that is part of the Cyber experience.

Joe Torre gone as New York Yankees manager

sad day as a New York Yankee fan as our Manager turned down a one year five million dollar deal. the thing Joe Torre deserved a lifetime deal with the Yankees to me. 4 World titles, 6 American League championships and 12 straight years into the Post Season. those numbers speak volumes. George Steinbrenner and his Sons made the offer to Joe Torre. I don't blame Joe Torre and I find it insulting because all he has down as a Manager, he deserves the ultimate respect. this isn't all about Money,but about Principal and respect. I bet cash money that 9 times out of 10 in any other city or market Joe Torre would have a shrine built for him and also he would get a lifetime deal as well which i feel he deserves. Joe Torre is well respect as a Manager and does his thing. I bet Joe will be back. it will be hard next year seeing anybody else in that Yankee dug out running things but Joe. i wish him the best and want to say thank you for bringing my Team back. Joe Torre is a Winner in Baseball.

if Nas had the N Word as a album title

so Nas is flirting with saying his next album will be called after the N Word. I don't think he is challenging Dick Gregory the noted Comedian,Civil Rights Marcher and a Man who truly made a strong point when he made a Book with the title. now it's not like Nas will ever make a Marvin Gaye type of "What's going On" Project. this to me is more for shock value. He is getting attention which he wants. Bill O'Reilly and the Fox gang who loves to take shots at Nas. I ask a Artist though why would you even imply a title as such and know the kind of reaction you are gonna get? I know Nas likes attention. his last album "Hip-Hop Is dead" was so-so to me. signing up for Book club deals

always getting a Book club offering me a deal and what appeals to me at the particular time. I enjoy biographys the most along with world history, Pop culture, creative minded innovative people,sports, music, Culture and Race related Books,etc.... but when you get offered books 6 for 99 cents or something then you just go and explore your choices. but i want to cover as many bases as possible and yet leave room for other options. Books speak there own language and as I glance and remind myself of books that hang off my selfs and I just sit there and think about the joy and excitement i found in first getting those books. no one place ever has all the Books I want and I still go to Used Book Stores and find certain books that are reminders of my childhood that i happen to dig. Books have a smell and idenity all unto themselves. so another offer in the mail and how tempting is this offer? I might pass on this one but not too many.

i guess you can say that a new era of tv started today and it is still hard to believe. Drew Carey took over the role as host that Bob Barker held for 35 years. I get so use to seeing Bob Barker that it's hard to imagine him not on tv at all. Drew Carey is a Interesting cat,but these are some big shoes to feel and tv is a place where you get use to seeing certain Icons who forever change the way you view and feel about a show and the overall impact of what you are viewing. Bob Barker made tv like your Mommy or Daddy made your lunch. you see a figure on tv who truly transends time and leaves a feeling as if they were part of your family. the night time version of the Price is Right went Wood. so you see just how important a Host can be and also decide the fate of a show. stay tunned. I hope the Price is Right doesn't get watered down as Family Feud has become.

IS IT BECAUSE of all the drama and challenges that i have encountered that i can trip off it?

is it because I can play the dozens and do Mama Jokes,Daddy,Granny and Grandpa along with your anty,Uncle and cousins,etc... and bag on folks and make you laugh while i do it?

is it because as a Black Man I just don't even care when i talk about things that happen in America and I can look from within and laugh and then explore the other human beings and things I have seen within my vision and make that commentary on it?

is it the things that happen in school, church and other places where alot of folks were doing some good acting and they put on good Oscar Winning Performances, though the Only Oscar in the House at the time was Oscar Meyer Hot dogs.

was it dealing with Life, in between and seeing Death that can make you catch yourself and just vibe in the light?

being called funny is the greatest compliment someone can give another person because so many folks be Mean mugging or just holding back that obvious pain and indifference. Humans Cry,Laugh and then Laugh Even Louder and Grief things that expand,but the meaning and foundation still is reflecting back to you.

Roller Betties still happening

the sport of Roller Bettis in my town is on and also throughout the united states. Women battling in Roller Skating and directly going against one another. it's a trip to see some of these same Women only a hour prior and whatnot chatting things up and being friendly with the competition before the battle and then getting on the skating ring and going at it left and right. it is a true sport. it's not just a Babes on wheels type of thing either. don't get wrong there are some nice looking chicks doing there thing on the bladers,but they are very athletic and are ready to cover there turf. the wear and tear of the sport though takes it's toll on your legs, back,arms and not to mention all Physical and also Mental demands going on. the refs have to be quick and on top of there game. alot of practice goes into being prepared and ready to battle on the Blades. still it is a fun and exciting sport to watch in person.

College Football who wants to be Number 1?

talk about Parity in college Football? the BCS Poll that comes out weekly has the coaches poll and the ratings of the teams in college football to see who will be number 1. well today number LSU and and number 2 California both lost. being Number in College in Football has meant not for long this particular year. I can't recall another year where being Number 1 would be about as lasting long as being Married to Elizebeth Taylor or Britney Spears. i mean teams are getting alot more often. there is still a possibility that teams with one loss each ,might be battling in January for the National title. I mean this year has truly been unreal on so many levels and yet it makes for must see viewing. Parity can work if it gives teams a fair shot at a national title. over the years it was all about the big name schools and Programs,but nowadays it seems everybody is fair game. this year in sports has been twisted but college football has taken it too a whole different level. suddenly my Michigan Woolverines might creep back in the mix. though with two losses and still a showdown with Ohio State don't stack too well in our favor,but you just never know. stay tune.

Schools are turning into a Old western

seems this week there was so much drama going on at school houses across the nation. that whole thing in Cleveland,Ohio ain't no joke. what is bringing all this drama to school houses? what is making Kids Become stick up bandits and or trying to matter? what is missing and why all the Horror going down at the school House? weapons coming left and right and Copycat take overs. there is gonna have to be pat downs and swat teams probably in the near future to ensure safety.i mean there use to be just bullys and now there are guns and take outs. i know tv and films,video games are influencing as well,but alot of school shootings that happen during the late 90's inspire these sad tragedys as well. hopefully there will be balance to put the importance of education and get the real reason at being at school.

interesting week

have you had one of those weeks where you just threw your hands up in the air and just couldn't feel like you could win at all? being under the weather, having it rain and that cool weather along with so many others things happening here and there. i guess always in life you got journeys and moments that will make you reflect and think. some times you can win, some times you take a loss and other times you just have to let the chips fall where they may. this week was cool though talking to friends and family members. my sports teams lost which wasn't good for my own personal ego,but that doesn't fully make or break my week,but it does bring a downer in me. anyway this weekend is nice for a change and I'm cool with that. I wanted to feel alive as the week ended and balance things out. gotta be on a Winning note.

why folks turn on athletes

i know that Michel Vick, Marion Jones and some other athletes have made mistakes,but it doesn't mean they shouldn't no longer be embraced and remebered for the good things they did. I saw where Michael Vick's old High school is pulling his Jersey from the glass or that the Atlanta Falcons are going after twenty million dollars in bonus money for him and I ask why? His High School benefited from him being there and he is known there and you can't try to erase his impact and history there away. just like it was dumb of the Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blake to go after bonus money. i mean Vick brought fans to the stands and earned that franchise tons of money and believe me there are younger fans of his who will reap for Michael Vick regardless. marion Jones having to turn over his awards is dumb because to go back in time is just looney to me. and also going after her money as well. i mean this ain't Murder. now Michael vick's charges are serious but not where he can't come back and make a even bigger impact. when i see a modern day athlete catch a case or go through some drama, you see how corperate things truly are and you can be one Mistake from being dropped like a bad habbit. i feel that is more directed toward the Black Athlete personally. i'm not making excuses,but there is a double standard and folks do profit regardless and will continue.

woman has to pay over 200 thousand in fines from RIAA

well the Music industry of America has charged a Woman with taken songs illegally off of the site Kazaa the music filing site. these suits are so dumb ad stupid. the final fines and what not aren't anywhere near what these companys seek out or try to claim. i mean instead of embracing modern technilogy there is still the mindset of Us versus them.i always laugh when somebody who gets sued and fined by the industry elects not to pay at all and what ends up happening is that you start to lose fans from supporting Product.

i applaud what the Band Radiohead is doing by having fans going to there site to purchase rough sketches of there new stuff, and selecting there own price for what they want to spend. there has to be some middle ground. Napster almost 10 years ago(hard to believe already) forever changed the way Music and Technilogy would go hand and hand for the future.

trying to bully folks who download music is cheap and tacky. give music fans more options and also stop keeping back so much stuff for years, decades,etc... give the consumers more.

and for the record the money that is sought after from the labels,ain't exactly going back to the artists pockets,but that is another topic and story for a different day.

Marion Jones: sad it came to this

sad to see Marion Jones having to plead guilty to lying to a under ground federal agent. sad to hear she has to give up her gold medals. that was truly sad to see on that courthouse the other day. now I still got a crush on Marion Jones and i always rooted for her. it seems just like yesterday she won all the medals and had all the love. she said she was sorry and said she let her country and family down. i feel though that she can come back even better and can leave a lasting impression. she will always be something else to me.i feel folks are quick to say oh what a sad tragedy,but there is still plenty of life within her. everybody makes mistakes,but there is always a second chance and i'm rooting for her.

tough night for me as a Sports fan

where do i start tonight? My Buffalo Bills got beat on the final play of the game against the Dallas Cowboys despite intercepting Cowboy's QB Tony Romo five times. we ran two back for touchdowns and also had a kick off return for a touchdown,but the game is sixty minutes not fifty nine minutes and fifty nine seconds. tough loss there.

my New York Yankees lost to the Cleveland Indians. they were elminated tonight and it might mean the end of Joe Torre as our Manager. four World titles, six world series appearences and tweleve straight Post Season appearences. who knows what is gonna happen here on out,but Joe Torre's era in New York has been magical and fantastic.

tough double losses. having both my teams on tv tonight. not much to say just have to tip your cap and come back again.

well got the electric bill for the month and it has gone up,but this is the last regular bill before it gets colder. going through mid to late spring through summer the electric bill is very flexible and not much of a concearn. but after October depending on where you live November thru March tends to mean a higher electric bill in order to stay warm. never know what the weather is gonna be like but the mindset is always stay warm and prepare for real chilly conditions. the days when it is colder inside than outside can make a look on my face reflect stem that comes from the stove at times. always trying to avoid and not think about that mid late fall and dare i say Winter vibe. the weather changes drastically where i live and i just try to stay comfortable and warmer. that bill finds it way even sooner when Winter time is forthcoming or so it seems. bout time to get on a plan that will keep things warm and also not make the bill outragious.

how often is it that two Heavyweight champions get to battle beyond the ring? well that is the case between Evander Holyfield and George Foreman. now Holyfield has thrown in his Gloves for his own Grill. now everybody and there Granny has a George Foreman Grill and talk about a Re-invention for George Foreman? there are some folks who know Foreman more for being a Grill Spokesman and having his own grill than his Legendary Boxing career and that speaks volumes. well Holyfield is briging his state of the art modern day Grill to the forefront as well. which grill will be able to go the distance with the public at large and have that knock out Flavor in the end? Lebron James rocks his Yankee cap in Cleveland

and what is tghe Problem? apparently some folks on sports shows and places made a big deal out of Lebron rocking his Yankee ball cap while the Cleveland Indians were playing at home and some folks made a big deal about it. this reminded me of the 2006 NBA Finals when the Dallas Mavericks were Hosting the Eventual Champions the Miami Heat and Dalls wide Reciever Terrell Owens was rocking a Shaquille O'Neal Miami Heat Jersey and he was asked why and he said he was a Shaq fan. I mean Athletes of other Pro Sports are paying customers and can wear what they want. nobody made a stank about pitcher Curt Schiling of the Boston Red Sox's upon being asked who he was roooting for when the New England Patriots were getting ready to play the Pittsburgh steelers in the AFC Championship game Schilling said he was rooting for the Steelers. he didn't root for the local patrriots. so who cares who Lebron roots for? why do people always expect people to be Politically correct or quick to being phony with there choices? do you and Be you is what I always say.

15 years later remembering Malcolm X Movie and mania

the film was Great and it showcased Denzel Washington in his Prime and artistic Peak overall. also this film was the last important film from Director Spike Lee to me. the film was about Malcolm X who to me was a Leader. but the sights and vibes about Malcolm X Mania was the spotlight on the Ball Cap which alot of folks were rocking but not many were reading the Book or fully understanding the Man. Malcolm X just like Dr.Martin Luhter King Jr, Fredreck Dougless and so many other Great Civil Rights and Human Rights Leaders made a better day for Black folks everywhere. this seems just like yesterday when the Film and the Selling of Malcolm X to the Masses was in full effect. the Book sold alot again but has there been much discussion or interest? when I left from watching the film a White dude apporached me and wanted to talk and that to me spoke volumes. but I often wonder on some levels if the film was just a moment in time? also folks who didn't embrace Malcolm's Personal sentiments of the early 60's now were suddenly trying to up Malcolm and Moonwalk from Dr.King. where the Media is concearned it can only be One Black Person at a time in the main light. but there is so much to be learned and studied. i remember this particular time period 15 years back and the anticipation for the film.

Isiah Thomas and MSG gotta pay

yesterday Anucha Browne Sanders a fromer New York Knicks Executive who said that Isiah Thomas had Sexual Harrassed her and team Owner James Dolen fired her and tried to down play Sanders actions. well a New York jury sided with sanders and she was awarded 11.6 million dollars. Isiah Thomas said him and the Madison Square Garden Brass will file a appeal. now this settlement doesn't come of Isiah Thomas's Pocket but it does do damage to him and Believe me as bad as the New York knicks have been on the court, the last thing they needed was another turnover off the court. the Jury felt that Isiah Thomas and Knicks Owner James Dolen were conservative and a bit on the arrogant side about the whole situation and the Jury also felt that there was Contradictation on the witness stand. this type of trial makes me think of Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill. I think of a Black Man and a Black Woman in court together over Sexual harrassement in another He said she said and somewhere in between is the truth. Isiah Thomas as a Baller was One of the Greatest Players ever that i have seen and champion. however as a Gm aside from his work with the Toronto Raptors he has been average to below. his time as Coach with the Idiana Pacers through his New York Knicks Tenure has left a whole lot to be desired. this is not a good look for the Nba as another mark goes against the league.

Baseball playoffs start

well in the American league we have the New York yankees taking on Cleveland, Boston taking on LA Angels, in the national league we have the Arizona Diamondbacks going against the Chicago Cubs, and Colorado against Philidelphia. this should be a wild and interesting post season. watching Colorado playing up against San Diego was wild last night. that game went 13 innings and I don't care what anyone says Holliday never touched home plate. but Colorado was meant to be. Philidelphia came back to claim the National league east after the New York mets choked in the final 20 games of the baseball season. this was a wild and all over the place baseball season and nobody knows quite what to expect in the post season. I just want my New York Yankees to win it all again and it would be great for A-Rod to go far in the post season and to play big part. i hope for a memorable post season and this one has alot of interesting match ups. stay tunned and Play Ball. baseball parity is in full effect neither team from the world series last year is here. St Louis the champs and Detriot the Runner up and American league champs from last year are both home fishing and watching this year.

Britney spears loses custody of her kids

well this is a situation where things went from bad to worse. it's always a trip when a Judge takes away kids from a Mother,but a Celebrity Mother at that losing her kids back to the father Kevin Federline. it's all over the news. she seems out of control and it is a mess. she has two days to turn the Kids back over to the father. there always seems to be something new and another twist to this saga. now Spears is preparing for her Music comeback in November when her new Album drops,but this is truly serious.the Judge must have felt the drug use drinking and whatnot involved was pretty strong to make such a strong decision. you gotta wonder how she is messing up like this. it speaks volumes that being Famous didn't sway this particular judgement.hopefully she can get her thing together. we don't need to see Bodyguards and other folks telling storys of what is happening behind close doors at her home,but we don't need to see her out and about making herself a easy target either.
