tough Sports weekend for me and other sports takes

my Miami Heat got sent Fishing for a early Summer vacation. I was Hoping that Shaq,D-Wade,Zo,Hasslem,Gary Payton,Pat Riley and crew could Repeat but it was not meant to be. we lost to a better chicago bulls team. we will be back next year and there will be changes.

my New York Yankees, have lost 5 out of 6 against Boston which just stinks. our pitching stinks right now. just not getting things done. it got so bad that rumors were going that Our Manager Joe Torre who has 4 World Titles as a Yankee Manager along with taken us to 6 World series's all together during his 12 year Run as the Skipper might get fired. that is truly sad.also our GM Brian Cashman was on the Hot Seat as well. He has helped us Win titles and kept us in contention yearly. the Players just have to step up and get it together. hard to believe the Yankees are in last Place.

NFL draft and Brady Quinn sat and waited and waited and waited until His Hometown cleveland Browns Drafted him after he waited for 4 hours. Quinn was a Quaterback at Notre Dame University and while he had a whole lot of Hype His game was questioned because he hasn't done much in Big games thus far.

the Other News was the New England Patriots trading for Wide Reciever Randy Moss which clearly it seems on paper gives the Patriots arguably the best team in the NFL.

Jeff Gordon won over the weekend on Nascar but was met with some resentiment. he has payed a Price for Being a Race car Driver from Being from elsewhere besides the deep south. The Race car circuit has a Good Ole Boy Mind-set and vibe and Gordon doesn't fit there Image but there is no denying His Success.

15 years ago the Rodney King Verdicts

hard to believe it's been 15 years since the Rodney King Verdicts came back in the trial for the Police Officers who beat and battered Rodney King up big time. it created alot more tension that was already in place. thinking back to Rodney King alone speaks of a time that truly was a scary time. I mean when you are Black there is the rule of DWB: Driving While Black. you have to respect and Obey what the Police say,but you also gotta stay cool if you get pulled over because if you look cross-eyed you might catch a beat-down and you will get a Scare over tactic. sorry but when you are a Black Man any-town Any-Where America at the wrong time or place this kind of thing has happen in the past, present and I'm afraid in the future. LA was a torn city after what had happen 15 years back. those Verdicts were Horrible and down right scary. what has happen and has much been learned since that particular time? time will tell and lets hope wounds have healed. Reginald Denny was a victim of a Beat down, but he never took it personal because he understood the outrage over the verdicts. Rodney King asked Can we all get along? that Question still remains and we still haven't Answered that Question with a Yes.

Democratic debates happen this past week

so this past week the democratic debates took place and how do you actullay determine a winner? i mean you already go in knowing which way you may or may not vote. you have some intersting choices. you Barack Obhama a Black Man, Hillary Clinton a White female and Wife of Former President Bill clinton and you have a Host of other canidates who will either make strides or just crash the party into a Parity which it pretty much is. the game of politics and all the spending and campaign twists and turns are just now getting into full view. alll kinds of topics are Hot button issues at the moment including the War, which seems to be going on and on and no end in sight. freedom of speech from Don Imus to Hip-Hop Lyrics which has gotten a unfair Rap, no pun intended with a General sweeping of the Broom as if Rap Music is the Only form of Sticked Music in america and also the reasoning for so much tension in the world? then you have Health care, Poverty, Racism, Sexism,Education, safety,Gun Control,Enviromental issues, foreign issues that affect us all. so the debates are just getting started but does One Person ever truly cover all the bases on those Issues and who will emerge with the right pitch and ideas that people are comfortable with?

NFL Draft

today is the Yearly NFL Draft Weekend where Every National Football League team is on the same page at least for one week. the Draft has so much hype and Hope. fans get all up for this day. when it's draft day it's all about what your team needs and can do. My team the Buffalo Bills have a few obvious needs and hoepfully we can make some serious in-roads this year. every team is looking for that one pick that can take them beyond where they were last year. scouts NFL writers and TV Commentators all give there take on who will go where and whatnot, but you still never know how the particular player is gonna do once they go to the League. you never know until it's game time. but for this weekend everybody is even.fans stay up and anticipate who is going where and also some cheers and some boos depending on who gets selected. can't wait for Football.

Alec Baldwin ain't done nothing wrong

all this week the Phone call that Actor Alec Baldwin made to his daughter has gotten a whole lot of press. now aside from the part where he called his Daughter a Pig, the other part of the conversation was on point. if you are a Parent then you have at some time or another gotten into it with your child for one thing or another. now what is puzzling is how did this conversation become available to the Public at large?? His Ex Wife Kim Basinger probably more than likely leaked this tape out.Basinger and Baldwin have been going at it for years since parting. you hope for the child's sake that people stay civil and act Adult about matters such as this, but this just keeps getting ugly. Baldwin was upset that His Daughter hadn't returned his phone calls. this is just a mess and no end in sight. if you were raised with a Parent or Parents that truly could drop some words then chances are your Phone conversation with your Parents would never make the 6 o'clock news. this is mild to some Phone conversations that i heard between Parent and child back in the day. of course the threat of a belt or a Switch spoke more volumes than a strong voice on the other end of the line, no matter how many miles apart and away.

Russell Simmons flip-floping on Subject matter on Rap Lyrics

it was a trip me seeing Russell Simmons on Oprah saying freedom of speech and then saying He wants a End to the B Word, N Word and H Word. I mean you can't change the words or feelings or sentiments over night. personally the music Industry uses the Old Plantation mentality when it comes to Black Artists. the words that are said left and right and green lighted across corperate Boardrooms daily speaks volumes about the Mind-set.Russell Simmons didn't say much of anything. Flip-Flops as do so many other CEO's of labels.i don't have any Problem with Lyrical Content because that is a Freedom we have, but I don't want to hear a Label CEO flip-flopping like he doesn't know what is going on and you can play dumb when you have Profited off what you Push. whatever is considered Offensive started at the Plantations and that Mentality is pushed by these Labels through alot of Black Artists who are associated with Rap Music. not all but quite a few.

Sheryl Crow doesn't want to Squeeze the Charmin

i heard it yesterday but i still couldn't beleive it. Sheryl Crow the Musician was quoted as saying only use one piece of Toilet paper per trip. that bugged me out. a Multi-Millionaire Artist to say this sounds like she has truly flipped. when i was growing up I was told that don't be afraid at using the TP. so hearing a Artist like Crow and a woman at that saying one piece per visit truly cracked me up and made me roll my eyes. Be it My Mother, grandmother's Aunts,etc... that was one thing that I was told to use a plenty of. there are some things that should remain private. please Squeeze more of the Charmin is what I'd tell her.

The Simpsons turns 20

talk about time flying by? the Fox Tv Show which debuted back in 1987 is now 20 years old and soon will be coming to a theater near you. Bart and his whole family has left a lasting impression on so many fans through the years.Springfield,MI has been the place to be on Sunday Nights for so long now. the graphics and technilogy has changed and a Whose who of Music and Overall Entertainment Elite has made there way through the Simpsons grounds lncluding Michael Jackson and that alone speaks volumes about the Cultural Iconic Impact that the Simpsons has had on Society. now I tend to dig the show more back in the day,but I do find myself still watching it from time to time.it is the longest running Cartoon Ever now having passed the Flinstones for longest running show. the Movie should be interesting when it comes out. I feel the Simpsons is one of the Best Cartoons Ever and it will hold up for many decades to come. now there have been many spin off type shows and though have a stronger content factor and even in some cases more entertaining now than the Simpsons, can they still be Relvent in a Decade from now? the Simpsons has that going for them and then some.

New York Yankees versus Boston Red Sox's

it's that time of the year when the Battle starts and the Rivialery gets into full overdrive. My Yankees thus far have lost the first two games in Boston. Next week we get them in the Bronx. no matter what the time of the year is or no matter where each team is in the standings you get the best out of them. the fans are all into it. I saw Couples where One was wearing a Yankee outfit and the other was rocking a Red Sox's Outfit. the intensity to these two Teams Battling is fantastic for the sport. in a day and age where marketing rules and also where a true stomping grounds matters this Baseball series is always about the Match-ups. i still ain't got over 2004 and hopefully soon we can get back on track and get the Rings back to New York. no matter what it always seems to come down to a Yankees and Red Sox's Series and I can't wait. i just hope my Yankees get the Pitching tighten up. Alex Rodriquez is playing out of His Mind right now. A-Rod is Balling big time. Jeter is always Jeter. we just gotta rally and do the thing.

NBA and Hockey Playoffs off and running

NBA Playoffs starts this weekend and I'm hoping that My Miami Heat can repeat, but it's gonna be tough. Detriot,Cleveland, Chicago are standing in the way in the East and Maybe New jersey. out west there is Dallas,San Antonio,Phoenix,Houston and you just never know after that. the NBA Playoffs are so long nowadays with 7 game first run series. back in the day was the best 2 out of 3 and then it went to 5 games. I miss the old ways because Less brought out more overall as far as competition and Urgency.

Hockey: I ain't a Big fan,but I do root for the Buffalo Sabers. there is always Detriot who are a factor. Sidney Crosby is something else thus far. Hockey has fallen off so much and they need any kind of spark Stateside. I even Saw Snoop Dogg in the Booth during a Hockey Game with His Son. what sport will hold the interest during the Post-Season as I like to call it Money time will be interesting to say the least. the Finish Line isn't that far behind. Root for your teams and let the Chips fall where they might. I just hope the Refs don't impact the Outcome.

Cho Seung-Hui: a Life that needed help

Virigina Tech has had a Week of Horror. this week will never be forgotten and I'm glad to see sports and other fields of life acknowledging this Past week of Horror at the College. the Gun-Man Cho Seung-Hui needed Help and someone to talk to him. He sent all that film to NBC about how he felt. schools take your money and you become a Programmed Robot basically. but when a student is crying for help or needs attention and folks turn a blind eyem then anything can happen. if somebody intervenes then Tragedy as this might be prevented. the anger, build up and Hostility is a Rage that needs to be met with head on, instead of excused within a system that seems to allow all kinds of students through, but refuses to work on a Problem. for a Kid to go to a College and take out that kind of Emotion is a scary feeling. hopefully if there is a Kid be it at a High School, College, or Middle School that somebody will get that Kid the Help they need. if we listen and truly deal with a Problem head on then so much can be done.32 Lives deserved better and Life number 33 needed someone to truly hear him out and find a better solution than just turning a Naked eye on Him. you feed a cold Mind to the wind and you sadly get unwanted Conditions.

Tim Duncan and Joey Crawford NBA Drama

what happens when a NBA Referee over steps his bounds? well this past Sunday Joey Crawford a 30 year Vet went at Tim Duncan. he gave him two Technical Fouls and also challenged him to a fist fight. Tim Duncan is One of the Greatest NBA Players Ever and also a Class Act. Tim Duncan does have moments on the Basketball court where He will Beg like He is Kin to Keith Sweat or something, but His play and overall attitude doesn't merit this foolishness. Tim Duncan feels as do some of the San Antonio Spurs Players and brass that know that Joey Crawford has gotten Suspended for the rest of the season and the whole Post-Season that chances are that Crawford is done in the Nba and Duncan and the spurs are a bit worried that there may be a Vendatta when it comes to the Officiating. Conspiracy therorist shall be coming out on the NBA is some funny business is going down. this is the first time Ever that i have ever seen or heard such a thing. David Stern the NBA commiss said that Crawford had been warned before and that Crawford said that he would do it again. that is what cost him. I do believe some of these Refs go a bit too far and I blame quite a bit of the problem on David Stern because he pushed the rules for less talking from the Players and more Technicals or a quicker Whistle.

Steve Spurrier speaks out against the Confederate Flag

I applaud south Carolina Coach Steve Spurrier for speaking out of the people who wave the Confederate Flag. it needs to be taken down and taken away forever. a Flag that is tied back to Slavery is not something I want to be reminded of. Spurrier was asked and he spoke on it.I applaud him and wish more People who hold a Forum to speak on something would be a strong welcoming to me. i watch college Football and when I watch Games down south and see those Flags being waved it truly bothers me. I gotta say sight on seen that 9 times out of 10 when I see someone waving those Flags I think they are a Bigot. I applaud Steve Spurrier for being Real on a subject that needs to be stated.

Virginia Tech Massacre:33 People Dead

Guns in the United States are so easy to Obtain and get. this is the worst school related slaying Ever. this is Mind-blowing and hard to digest. a College Campus with this much Open Activity is just scary. this is the kind of situation that will make students stay in there dorm rooms and be weary of going out and about. what leads to somebody taking so many lives and there own? this is down right scary. we live in a World and Country that Supports War. Guns and other Weapons are easy to Obtain and there is always a situation as this that comes out of nowhere and makes no sense at all. nobody seems to have any answers and where is School Security in all of this? you have to have Detectors and Other Safety measures to Protect. this is not the kind of news that you want to hear or see. My prayers and thoughts go out to all the People who lost lives in this Tragedy. the Gun Man took his own life. nothing makes any sense. truly a Sad Day.

Great to see Jackie Robinson's number being honored

it is great to see players today honoring Jackie Robinson and it is well needed. it was great to see NBA Player Jerry Stackhouse acknowledging the Impact of Jackie Robinson not only on the world of baseball but also in other sports where African-Americans participate in. Jackie Robinson's impact is felt throughout sports and also the Entertainment world. He was in films and Hollywood did films and also Books on the life of Jackie Robinson who also was a All sportsman at the University of UCLA. Jackie Robinson represented so much beyond sports. his legacy and Impact is felt today and always will be. i hope people who wear his number will do so proudly and remember his journey and struggle. also i hope that wearing hsi number won't be like some folks who wore Malcom X's baseball cap but only did it for show. i hope this will further educate some who weren't aware of what jackie Robinson meant then and even more now and what it shall mean into the future.

finishing up the taxes as April 15nth

hard to believe it's almost the tax deadline, and did you get all the deductions you could get for the year? this particular time of the year comes so quickly and you are making last second calculations on what can still be used as a way to make something back or a way to not have to pay as much. this time of the year effects so many lives and yet once it's over there is a collective sigh of relief. what to plain to invest in for the coming year to show more profit? what will next year bring in terms of returns? the year passes as quickly as the money gets spent as soon as you get the return. i tend to like to get my business taken care of as soon as possible. we will all be back at it this time again next year. also still dreaming about we still want to get. where does all the time go by and also what did we want to get back from last year again??

Freedom of speech and the fall out from Imus

well you have don Imus and his Supporters pointing to the Lyrical content of some rappers. will the Big Eye be on all Content or will Freedom of speech be subjected to changes? Imus wanted to say that what he says and what some rappers say is the same thing. but what he forgets is that Rappers release a Edited and Un-Edited version out for purchase. there was a time when places as Wallmart wouldn't stock Stickered material. but it comes to what consumers want and are willing to listen to. but Imus went on attack in a situation that was out of his element and also the Ladies Basketball team didn't have any reason to be attacked from Imus. but there is a strong feeling that Big Brother will next target Rappers and since Imus pointed a finger at Rappers and let me say that everytime something happens you can almost always count on a Black person being blamed.Freedom of speech will become a hot button topic here on out. this won't be the last time something stirs up the Nation. but how you word things is always important.

could you be in a relationship with a Adult film star?

i watched Tyra Banks today and there was a Segement on this. Tyra wanted to do a show in the Adult Entertainment Industry and to see folks in the business. it got me thinking could you yourself be in a Relationship with a Adult Film Star? funny how folks have fantasies about Famous people and say it openly, but if you put this question out there what do you think your friends would say? people watch Adult films and have thoughts on the people in them. the couple on Tyra Banks show talked about how they are a Family and that the Wife just does her job. she said that she was gonna tell her child about her line of work fairly soon. so i wonder if you were in that scene could you handle it or would you rather play Arm chair Quaterback from a far with it? is there a Profession that you wouldn't allow that special someone in your life not to take? this particular topic made me think and wonder.

Don Imus and what Corperate America tolerates

Don Imus's show was canceled from being Programmed over at MSNBC,but my question is why now? I mean Imus has always made Racist remarks as do other Shock Jocks. funny how a Guy like Imus is saying well what about the Rappers and whatnot? again it points back to Corperate America. now Rap Music is mainly Black Artists and Black Artists as other Artists have to watch how they word things, but the Money coming from Corperate America at these Record Labels is to maintain a certain level of Lyrical content that is seen as keeping it real. did Don Imus keep it real for his audience? now Protecter and Gamble, staples and other places are pulling there sponsorship from the Imus show and Guests he was suppose to have are going away from him. now Rap Music has a Audience of 70-80% White People who Buy the Music and take the words to heart. now Imus words are taken to heart as well. but if you want change then you have to demand it. it's funny how things are precieved as so conservative but what is allowed at putting down Black People in all phases is allowed daily it seems. Imus and MSNBC didn't learn from Texaco and the JellyBeans comments back in 1996. and believe me there will be another episode and another Sponser will pull ads,but the cycle never ends because Hate dominates so much and alot of this is comes directly from Hollywood and the Corperate world.

NFL Commissioner making some suspect choices

Roger Goodell Suspended Tennessee Titans Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones for the whole season for always getting into trouble left and right. also Cincinnati bengals Wide Reciever Chris Henry got a eight game suspension. now more times than not I always champion the Brothers. I always say don't mess with Black folks, but when something this blatant is there I guess the situation is there, but at the same time I don't think a whole season for PacMan Jones especially since he hasn't been convicted of anything merits this. I think you have to live by the system of Innocent until Proven Guilty and I do have a Problem with the NFl commissioner basically saying that if you are in the wrong then they will punish you. I mean somebody could get set up and it could be costly. Jones&Henry have had a whole bunch of chances, but I still say unless something really strong is proved then it should always be Innocent until proven Guilty. Goodell says it's a Privledge to Play in the NFL,well in America it's a Privledge to Be Considered Innocent until any Gult is proved and you should be allowed to work unless something truly comes about. in the Future I expect somebody to challenge this ruling and Mop it up easily, but Cats like PacMan Jones Chris Henry aren't the ones. Cats do have to be more responsible with there actions and choices. we will see how all of this plays itself out. I have mixed opinions on the NFL and Pro Sports on the way they deal with Athletes and of course Racially there is always a element that overshadows so much.

Spring Break what to do?

well spring break is here for alot of Kids throughout the Country and it also makes me think back to this particular time period where the weather was changing along with my mindset. you sleep in and you watch endless hours of tv and perhaps hang out at the mall. nowadays it means more Computer time for chating. but Spring Break for a Kid coming along now, means a whole lot different to what i experienced. back in the day we would just get out and play Basketball, Football,Baseball and play all day. drink a whole bunch of Kool-Aid. use to run to the Mall and talk to the Girls. also would go shopping always trying to Style and Profile as my All time favorite Wrestler Ric Flair would say. going to the Beach was also part of that week off along with just chilling. depending on where you lived the weather played a huge part. always had to have something planned to get through the day and time. Spring Break is always a memory away. there are certain times and places in your life that you never forget.

Easter sunday

nowadays it seems as if Easter is another sales day or a way to overhype the day and take away the true meaning of it.Easter Sunday always use to make me feel a certain way. it had a uplifting spiritual vibe that will always be a part of me. oh the days of the past of having palm sunday or easter sunday praying and respecting the impact of the day and remembering the feelings felt during that particular time of the year. it was more than a Easter basket or dressing up for church, it was a day to remember and reflect. i don't appreciate the marketing of this Holiday and i feel the messages that must be learned and then taught in properly acknowledging this time of the year.

10 years Ago Tiger Woods changed Golf Viewing

hard to beleive tommorow marks the 10nth year anniversary of Tiger Woods Winning big time at the Masters. He was so Dominant that Particular Sunday that i'm still in awe of that performance. what Tiger Woods did that Sunday was also show the World that a Black Man could not only play on a Major Golf Tournament but also Dominate it and Run things. sadly there hasn't been many more African-American Golfers, but there are a few making some in roads. but Tiger Woods 10 years ago made a mark that will never be forgotten. He made me a fan of Golf. I use to watch, but I didn't care much for it because you hardly ever saw a Black Player. Props and Respect to Lee Elders, Calvin Peete,Jim Thorpe and others who were part of the PGA,but Tiger Woods took the game to a whole new level.there are moments that you will never forget and i will never forget the Greatness of Tiger Woods and the start of the Chapter of Dominance that would be the introduction to His Greatness.

Don Imus is a Lifetime Bigot

i ain't accepting this fool's apology at all. He called the Women's Rutger's Basketball team Nappy Headed Hoes. this Guy is a straight up Bigot who has been doing this for years and years. this Cat along with Rush Limbaugh and so many others are loaded beyond loaded. so many years of Racist remarks and nobody does nothing about it because Imus sells his show for ratings. what is scary is the people that accept his laoded words and support his Ignorant Racist Self. a Don Imus is reason alone that we still have a long ways to go. we ain't even close. He says oh he was joking, but give him a couple of days and he will be back to it again. nobody ever says he needs to be taken off the air and dealt with for this. He is openly Racist and loaded with his. thank goodness i wasn't around that Joker or it would be on like Popcorn.

Keith Richards had to catch himself

so everybody has heard about Rolling Stones Guitarist saying that he Inhaled cocaine mixed in with his Father's Ashes. now most folks didn't even trip on the Cocaine part because well Keith Richards comes across like he is on something and it ain't no biggie, but the part of snorting up his Father caught alot of say What's?? I mean nobody was expecting this. I was asked if say Ozzy Osbourne did such a thing if I would have been shocked or surprised? I said naw because Ozzy you always expected that. this was pretty wild and out of the Ordinary, but then again in the life of a Rock Star not much should be that surprising.Snorting will never be heard or seen quite the same again.

RIP Eddie Robinson

Eddie Robinson is a Larger than Life figure in college Football. if you know anything about Grambling University in Lousiana then you know the Greatness of this Man. He is one of only two College Coaches Ever to Win 400 games. he coached for 57 years. He was a Black Coachduring Jim crow era South. pre civil rights where anything aganist a Black Man went. but His legacy wasn't about being Bitter or self-pity his was a Will of a Man who made the Men He coached all be accountable. back in the day alot of Media outlets said oh o Black Player can make it to the NFL from a Black college or they can't Quarterback,etc.. Eddie Robinson showed Leadership and he was a Man who was a Pioneer. Doug Williams who became the First Black Quarterback to start,Win&get MVP in a SuperBowl was a player under Eddie Robinson. He took over at Grambling when Eddie Robinson stepped down. Eddie Robinson hasn't gotten the kind of acknowledgement as say Jackie Robinson, but he is as every bit as Important for the trails and the Open doors he paved. he was a One of a Kind Man who didn't let the Hatred and Racism of America force him into a box,Eddie Robinson created his own box and let everybody know that a Black Man could be a Leader. Eddie Robinson is a Mount Rushmore coach, but More importantly he was a Teacher and a Leader. he showed that a Black Man can lead and share in the American dream. RIP

Congradulations!!!

ever have those friends that took the word Free beyond?

over the weekend i was striagt up laughing to myself when i say a sign in front of some Hot dogs that said they were for free. it made me think of some of my homeboys from back when who would see a free sign and then lose there natural mind. not only would the Hot Dogs, and Buns get took, but also so would the table they were on along with the fork or utensil that was used to serve them. i mean you got that one person you know that unless something is glued down, then the minute somebody turns there head it is gone. i was cracking thinking about some of the Cats I knew who would clean things out when the Free signal went up. you never said free around some folks or you'd be stuck with a what happen to it look?

Jackie Robinson 60 years of breaking barriers

tonight starts the season of a new Baseball season, but 60 years ago One Man Forever changed the game of Professional Baseball.but he also made a strong social statement that i feel hasn't gotten it's full due. to me without a Doubt Jackie Robinson should be acknowledged as a National Hero. He should be a National Holiday. remember what he accomplished was pre-civil Rights bills and acts. he played Pro Baseball. He paved the way and open up so many avenues.Baseball is still Racist as all get up. only a handful of Black GM's over the years. still a shortage on Managers and players aren't anywhere near as many. Jackie Robinson deserves a better reminder of Baseball's&America's Ugly past that is often swept under the rug. Tax Day April 15nth is the day that Jackie Robinson that He Broke the barrier and then later in 1947 over in the American League Larry Dolby broke the Barrier there and he hasn't gotten his full due either. it's time to go back acknowledge and say thank you because this is American History that everybody should know about it and respect the Fight&spirit of the Great Jackie Robinson in the face of Hatred. He would not be Denied. More Athletes need to appreciate the past because alot of them today are Being Pimped in the sport Plantation.

Michael Phelps Swims into History

this past week while Winning his 7th Gold Medals Phelps tied Mark Spitz's Mark set back in 1972. Phelps doesn't get the same acknowledgement as Tiger woods, Roger Federer,etc... but make no mistake about it, while Phelps is mainly known for a sport that isn't held into the same yearly or given the same attention as Other Professional Sports, what Phelps has Accomplished is something quite incredible when you consider all of the Swimmers since and that this mark stood in place for 35 years.

April Fool's day

hard to believe that it is April fool's day.so many pranks and jokesters out here already to catch somebody off on this day. now there are pranks that are playful&then there are ones that play out like a full-fledged story. it all depends on your humor&how far you can go and accept things. I've been known to pull some good April Fool's day jokes in my time. i think a good natured one is always a welcome once in a while. but finding Humor and saying April fool's day and not really calling somebody a Fool is a creative form of Humor in itself and yet maintaining the Nature of the Joke, but not to belittle anyone. Humor is a tricky form of expression which can go many ways depending on your audience or whom you are dealing with. the Key is to make you laugh and appreciate the good nature of the Joke at the end of the story.
