well it seems famliar seeing these two Teams battling for it all. just a few months back in the College football BCS title Game it was Florida versus Ohio State. well fast forward to now and in College it's the same schools at it again.can Florida make it back to back titles and be the first team since the Duke Blue Devils since the 91-92 seasons to repeat or can the Ohio State Buckeyes take the title away? Monday night will be rocking. College Basketball Finals are always must see tv because the anticipation&Excitement captures your full imagination&then some.this is the first time ever that the College Football Title Game and the NCAA College Basketball Title games will have the same teams representing. should be real interesting.

well who will win it all in College Basketball? looking forward to the matchups.florida&Ucla are set up in a re-match of last year's Finals which florida won. this is the first time since the 1991 season where Duke played UNLV in a Re-match of a finals&got there Revenge. can Ucla do the same? stay tunned. then you have Georgetown who is coached by John Thompson the 3rd son of the Great coach John Thompson. also Patrick Ewing's Son Patrick Junior is playing on Georgetown. talk about de ja vu? then Ohio State is lead by Greg Odom the Big time center.can the defending champions Florida Gators Repeat? there coach is strongly being pursued by Kentucky regardless of the outcome this weekend. so much drama&this is the Ultimate Pool to get into if you did your picking the right way.i can honestly say that College Basketball is getting interesting again.

Stephon Marbury&Lebron James war of shoe wars

now usually out of the two I roll with Lebron James because I dig the cat,but in this instance i gotta roll with Stephon Marbury. Marbury who more often than not frustrates me with his play on the Basketball court, hits a Winning shot here when it comes to Shoes. Murbury has a shoe that he personal has a say in and also endoreses that costs 15 dollars. he also has warm up clothes&gear for Kids&Adults that is very afforable. now Lebron James is following the same blue-print that Michael Jordan did. over-espensive shoes that back in the day cost some kids there lives. nobody should be spending a 150 dollars&up on some shoes.i think that Nike should make there shoes a whole lot more affordable. Nike is known at having sweat shops and paying there workers little to no money,meanwhile raking in a ton of Money yearly.Marbury has worn the shoes&played in them and tonight Ben Wallace is rocking a pair.to me this is truly given back.

Sanjaya the One Man Hair Band

by now if you have followed this season of American Idol then you are bound to have heard of Sanjaya. the Cat who is getting by on His hair. now this is nothing new. matter of fact along with talent, Hair is as part of being considered Important in Popular Music&culture.from the days of Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown,etc... Hair has always had it's place. now this Cat doesn't belong in that discussion because let's say he lacks that kind of talent,but His Hair is the x factor that is pushing his run through the voting process. back in the 80's the Hair Band phase got alot of One trick Pony Acts over.the thing is we generally know how this will all play itself out. but it happens quite a bit. the irony of this season of Idol is because of the lack of balance between the ladies&fellas a cat like Sanjaya has benefited from this. the Ladies have the better singers in a breeze. the two Black Women Lakisha and Melinda are the best of the whole lot far and away. i just hope Hair doesn't get in the way of voting on the most important aspect of the contest.this is a Music contest not a VO5 contest.

Serna Williams deals with a Racist Heckler

so last night during a Tennis Match that Serna williams was involved in a heckler in the stands called her Racist names. the other fans in the stands heard the guy&also pointed him out when Serna told the Umpire that the guy was disturbing her and also his Racist tones could be dangerous if not dealt with. the Man was tossed and banned from that event.but it shows that in 2007 that Racist tones are expressed out in the open. it doesn't shock or surprise me at all. matter of fact I'm so numb to it now that if it doesn't happen i often wonder something must be wrong. no matter if you are a sports Superstar as Serna Williams or Serna Williams that works at wallmart the Uglyhead of Racist language seems to always find itself and alot of people are still in denial about it's impact&the way it factors into so much that makes up our society.Serna was cool with Holding back that Racket,because I can't say that I would have been as cool.

remembering the Fab 5 Michigan Woolverines

well it's final Four time again. hard ot believe that 15 years ago and also 16 years ago my Michigan Woolverines known as the fab five made it to back to back title runs. they lost to Duke&then North Carolina,but there spirit attitude,drive&vibe made them even more hip to go along with balling big time on the court. while other teams have come&gone since Michigan's run, the Fab five left a lasting impression that shall never be forgotten. sadly Chris Webber the main player on those teams, was found of violating college Regulations when it was discovered he took Money,gifts under the table.what ended up happening is that those back to back title attempts are now not for not. all of that was taken away. but while the paper work and politics has taken that away, those memorys of the Fab five is never to be forgotten.

Jeopardy in a draw??

hard to believe a show like Jeopardy had a game recently that ended in a tie. a 3 way tie can you believe that? that is one of the toughest shows still known to Man. Ken Jennings aside&a few other contestants this game hardly has anyone going on there to Dominate it. still this show has been on the Air well over 20 plus Years¬hing like this had ever happen before. I bet Alex Trebek was sorta left speechless to a extent. i have watched this show quite a bit over the years.it's one of the shows that while the Money take still isn't the greatest, the overall Mental competition is still quite interesting and a must watch. those responses at the end are still very eye opening&having a show end in a tie was out of this world for a game show. incredible on so many levels.

Spam Mail is a trip

if you have E-mail accounts then you have encountered your fair share amount of spam mail. so many business chances to go to your bank account&make a transaction with somebody who has your name on a file,but you wouldn't know if they walked by with a My Name is tag on there shirt. I ahve a seperate box for junk and that is where all of the spam stuff goes. but I give them credit they keep on saying here is my number or open this link up. I mean there is a creative net of folks out here who specialize in selling you Spam. you are Spam Guarded up against it,but still can't stop it. it's a trip how that goes&works. talking about giving you Money or this or that. there is no getting around Spam Mail, it's like the Publishing clearing house sweepstakes mail you always use to get in the Mail and never were able to shake free of them either.

even though I'm a former Laker fan&Shall never root for them again,I gotta give it up to Kobe Bryant's Incredible Run of late. 4 straight games of at least 50 points. the Only Other Player to accomplish that feat was another Fellow Philidelphia pa Resident&also a Laker, his name Wilt Chamberlin. Kobe is one of those Guys that he makes it easy to not like him. at times He comes across Cheap and Petty. He is Arrogant,Pompious&Full of Himself,but you can't deny that He is One of the Greatest NBA Players Ever. He is Unstoppable. this is a Historic time in the NBA as we speak. no matter if you Love the Guy or Loath the Guy you can't deny his Impact on the court. He makes you watch regardless of where you come down on Him. no matter what Jersey Number he is wearing, he is still gonna Score.

something about finding out about Books&other things in magazines

reading as many magazines as I read I often find out about Books coming, Music or a Interview on a particular person. there is always something new to explore in a Magazine. always finding things in Ads sections of magazines. before the internet I was the person finding places to buy magazines or things. always writing stuff down on a cut out piece of paper. imagine life pre-internet where you had to track a Book that was either out of Print or older and you had to trace it down with finding a person who might have it? those days seem just like yesterday&in alot of ways they were,but in alot of ways them seem even further with the way technilogy is consistantly changing by the day&minute. but every now&then upon coming across something set for release i still get excited at tracking or finding something that I'm interested in buying.

Spring is Here!!

Long,Long overdue. I'm that person back in December that was counting the Hours, Minutes, seconds, days,nights,etc... until spring came back to the scene. even though it is raining where I'm at, there is nothing like the smell and feel of the spring time. birds are up and the grass is starting to get greener. now don't get me wrong there is still a hold over from Winter in some places. Baseball is coming along&Hopefully a grill isn't that far from coming into view. it is taken me a while longer to relate to day light savings time has kicked in already,but if the weather picks up now that spring is offically here then it will be awesome. the flowers are kicking into view.

so it was reported that a 11 wrestlers from the WWF were linked to the recent buying of Steriods over the Internet. where is the Outcry? yeah Professional baseball&Football are mentioned more as in other sports,but Wrestling reaches far more people than other sports in the United States. all the magazines&marketing of the sport. all the dudes in the Ring are Big. and some of them you know how they got that way. now Entertainment is Entertainment&there Job is hard because alot of them if they make a name for themselves work day in&day out. i only go at Wrestling because it is a Sport that is taken for granted,but everybody can see when things look suspect,but because the sport is a big seller and unlike Regulation style Wrestling nobody pays the whatever it takes to make it stance any mind.

Big Brother truly is watching&also controling as well. a week ago it was reported that Viacom was suing Google&Youtube for a Billion dollars over material being available for folks to watch,etc.... funny how Viacom wants to control everything&the very same people who support there Protects are now being sued. Viacom owns everything&controls everything,but have a problem when customers want to choose there own selections. the Internet was created for choice&these Powerful companys just try to bully folks because they can't keep up with the ever changes in Modern technilogy. it's been a mess over the past 7-8 years with lawsuits over Entertainment. they go after small things. but things still leak&are put out. the technilogy is there&has to be embraced. over the weekend I heard about the Explosive Dallas Austin Interview where he aired out on Christina Agulira&Joss stone. Austin is a successful Music Producer who has worked with TLC(had a Baby with member chilli)Madonna, Michael Jackson, Boyz 11 Men& quite a few other folks. hearing Austin saying that Agulira&Stone do whatever for Music tracks was eye-opening with somebody actually saying it,but not surprising. Hollywood has always been known for the Casting couch,but it was more spoken off towards the Film Game. I know in the History goes,but this was very explosive.it was already posted over at youtube.com but since taken down, but it is circulating big time. it's One of the most explosive things to be said in recent times. Agulira&stone are both artists really trying real hard at being accepted in R&B/Hip-Hop circles. they have each thrown chin music at one another.

St Patrick's day

oh the green is out in full effect. I remember back in the day going to school&if you weren't wearing Green then you get pinched. I remember this particular Holiday a National celebration for people of Irish Decent. lucky Green was seen as something special. over the years as I got Older it was used as a day for quite a few folks to get smashed. lots of drinking&partying going on. it's given a royal treatment as the day fast approached the sentiment of how to celebrate truly took on even a stronger meaning. I expect to hit the town&see a whole of Green everywhere. also Money counts as Green doesn't it? but that is a everyday Lucky thing we always need. celebrate&enjoy.

who starts this mess up anyway? could it a spurned ex lover or a former manager or a company with a Axe to grind? today news was spread about Comedian Sinbad's sudden death yesterday,but it was founded to be not true. I mean over the years all kinds of rumors start poping off left&right but i want Proof before just anything ends up going for news. I'd expect more accuracy. it's one thing if there is a story of Gossip,but to say Death on someone is very powerful&there has to be truth before anything goes for news. Media is sloopy alot of time these days. it's been that way for quite some time&it's truly a shame. just because you don't hear about somebody for a while doesn't mean they are deceased. i wish people would wait until there is actual proof before just spreading things under false wording.

i can't believe this happen in New York. some fool in New York Mugged&Hit a 101 Year Old lady&then Went upside another Older Lady's head she is 85. now this cat knows that everybody&there Momma saw his face on the camera&what he did was Foul. I mean this cat is truly tripping. the 101 Year old Lady was headed for Church. I mean this cat just knocked her over and over what? College Basketball's March Maddness 64

this is the time of the year in College Basketball where i truly get excited. this is where the Company Pools to pick the teams you want to make it to the round by rounds is starting to kick into gear. can the florida Gators Repeat? where will Ucla end up doing? Ohio State, North Carolina,Kansas,Georgetown are all interesting teams. hard to believe that the Duke Blue Devils aren't a front-runner but they are a very Young team this year&they are having a Off year. for me March Maddness in college Basketball ranks way up there with other championship events in other sports. the coolness about the Men's college Basketball during the March Maddness is that anybody could win if they get Hot at the right time. last year I had Florida and Ucla except i had them both finished off in the Final 4. I came so close to winning a Pool at work. can't wait to fill out my teams for the rounds.

Daylight Savings time during Winter??

talk about being shocked&Bugging out? I ain't never recalled a time in my life where Day Light Savings time started this early&also before Spring came into view. also factor in where I live, it's Rainy&Cold so a extra Hour of this isn't exactly making me leap for a extra hour. but this should be interesting. they always say there is a first time for everything&this is surely something to behold. I already have the Clock set so it's a matter of time of mentally getting ready for it. I always need at least a day to fully take on the change. so we shall see. I hope the Weather will reflect the Extra Hour.

just found out that a Truck Driver won half of the latest 375 Million dollar Lottery. I need to get to a store&start playing&fast. back in the day just scratching a ticket might mean winning 10-20 dollars but noawadays it can mean winning Hundreds of Millions of dollars. for a country talking about being Trillions of Dollars in Debt it's always amazing how all this kind of Coin is there for the Winning? but like American Publishing Clearence House, i still haven't seen anyone that I know or even have come into contact with anybody who has won. i want to buy only a certain amount of tickets because they can be addictive no doubt.

Kids being subjected to Weed

i couldn't beleive my eyes the other night upon turning the tv news on&seeing a 2 year old&a 5 year old being subjected by there Uncle to the smoking lifestyle of Weed smoking. now bad enough any type of second hand smoke can enter you system&it isn't a kind feeling. but for a person to push a Joint onto a Young soul that is barely able to walk,talk or even chew food to this is just wrong on so many levels. what does this say about how Kids are raised today in some places? I mean this makes no mistake at all. I was a Kid during the Just Say No to Drugs Campaign Jive that Nancy Reagan was putting down and that was more for show than go. but most times when Kids younger in there lives got down with some Weed they were more closer to being teens or Teens. but this is terrible on so many levels. a relative trying to make two younger Relatives a Pot Head even before they know there ABC's,but in these days and times nothing fully shocks me,but at the same time I had to do a double take.

it's hard to believe that it's been 45 years already since Wilt Chamberlin scored a 100 points in a Basketball game. He was unstoppable. before Shaq, Kareem,and Other dominant NBA forces there was Wilt the Stilt the Man who could not be denied in the Low Post. He to Me and no disrespect to Jerry West,(a Great Player Himself)but Wilt to me should be the NBA's Logo.Wilt is to Basketball as Babe Ruth is to Baseball as Jim Brown is too Football. Guys that transcended there respective Sports&are the Gold Mark of Dominance to me. Wilt Chamberlin played in a not heavy tv network or Internet era. word of mouth back in the day. but you knew he was a special Athlete. He like other Big Men in the NBA don't always get there due because the League hypes up other position players more so than NBA Centers,but make no mistake about it sadly though He died in 1999 still young in early 60's, there were NBA teams as recent as the 80's still trying to lure him back into the game. He still holds 46 NBA records. he Won Championships,individual awards,etc... but His scoring 100 points in a game is still on the Basketball court what he is still most known for. off the court 20,000 thousand Women He claims to have gotten with. March 1rst&it snowed today

I couldn't believe what I saw as I looked out my window pain this morning. the first day of March&instead of birds flying by in clear blue skys with Sunshine staring me in the eyes, i awoke to Snow. saw Snow and was tripping. I was thinking this is gonna be a long,long day. but by the afternoon the snow started to melt&a smile came across my face. I can't wait until Winter is over with. it has snowed a few times this Winter&It has slowed me down a bit. I can't wait until Spring gets here. only 20 more days. I've been counting down the Minutes, Seconds, Hours,Days&Nights until this Season ended. so hopefuly this will be the last of the Snow&that Winter feel.
