Former NBA Player John Amaechi comes out

well the past few days a Former NBA Player John Amaechi has came out&said he was Gay. now it's not a big deal because Players on all levels have played against&with Gay Players,but America is very Homophobic. that is just a fact&reaction is gonna reflect that. some players aren't gonna think about it,but some others will. Amaechi also has a book coming out this month. we all know that ain't no Player who is still employed in a Pro league is Ever gonna come out because the reaction would be extreme. everybody is waiting for a big name to say they are Gay,but again we don't live in a World that is that Accepting. we still deal with all kinds of Isms. Race, Sex,class,Age,Religion, so you aren't gonna say much. Don't ask Don't tell. David Stern the NBA Commiss knows what is up within the game as do the Players,but everything ain't gonna be all about how good you are because there are people with alot of hangups. as in any Job Workforce enviroment there are Straight,Gay folks and what anybody selects to have as there Partner should be there Personal Business,but the Society isn't that accepting&that is a Reminder.it will be interesting how the Book does.I wonder how some people would react if there Favorite or some of there all-time players were Gay? now that would be interesting. on the real that is a Reality that alot of people never want to have to confront.forget all the Politically Correct talk, that is how the reaction would be, along pause.
