yes it's that time of the year where you are to be thankful&remember it's a day to reflect also to show the love for all people. be it family, friends or strangers it's very important to cherish all the gifts you get each&every day that you are blessed to live&See. it's important to remember this message the other 364 days as well because everyday is a thanks for being giving the ability to touch somebody's life. a Teacher that teaches. Parents that leave a Lasting impression. Friends that you can share some of the most important tools in your up-bringing.the important thing is to always give&you shall be Blessed with even more. that is the most important Principal to always remember. we are all blessed&we shall have a lasting blessing on all Family roots that come after we are gone. place a Lasting Blessing on the Past,Present&the future.

Michael Richards let it all hang out

former Sienfield side-kick Actor Michael Richards over the weekend let all the N words come out of him like he was channeling Danny Aielo's "do the Right Thing" character right on the spot. was I surprised? nope. personally Richards represents alot of Hollywood to me. I say this because when you think about all the Images of Black People in Depicted in Music, Film,Tv&the Use of the N Word, the B Word directed at Black Women&so on, then you know that the Rotten Apple that fell at the Comedy Club over the Weekend is just a part of many more pieces of that same Apple that pays Richards&that same system that he is a part of.Hollywood breeds a Hateful attitude toward Black Folks with what gets used. I say this because what other Ethnic Group of People have been worded with so much objective wording&no one crys foul? Michael Richards is just another face in the long line of Racist who have down-played how they truly feel,but now there is no doubt. you can't window dress what came out of this Man's Mouth. Jerry Sienfield can try to put some paint over it,but this is something that you can't cover up. a Heckler sets a Man off to the Point He uses the kind of Language&tone he does&then he is trying to do a 180 turn around&say he isn't really like that? whatever. but in the Bigger picture those same Corperate Boardrooms that have employeed him over the years have had the same language,etc..&even worse said about Africn-American people&the Prove is what goes for roles&also what is allowed to be said.

Michigan versus Ohio State:it's almost game time

well it's put up or shut up as My Michigan Woolverines set to do battle against the Ohio State Buckeyes this coming Saturday. ohio state is ranked number 1 in the Nation&Michigan is ranked number 2. both teams are Un-defeated. 11-0. it's something else because whoever wins this game will go to a National Bowl game without a loss. interesting thing is that if the game is real close then some folks will want a re-match.but neither team wants to face the other regardless of the outcome on saturday. who ever loses this game I wonder how far they will fall in the polls? either way this could be a huge game&if it lives up to expectation then it could replace last year's big National title game between Texas&Usc which was a classic game. I hope that Michigan comes out on top.I'm ready to Rumble in Ohio. can't wait,it's almost Showtime!!

Emmitt Smith Versus Mario Lopez Celebrity Dancing

a unlikely battle between a NFL Great&a Tv Actor who is trying to get back into the Tv groove again. Both Smith&Lopez worked with great Dancers. there dance partners are both Great. this Show has generated a whole lot of buzz. no matter who wins this show became a good fill in for missed American Idol. this Show will only get bigger over time. this was a fun light-hearted show. people love voting on tv shows. that is why Reality tv shows are so huge. gonna find out who wins tonight.

Bobby Knight hitting a Player

now Coach Bobby Knight the Coach of Texas Tech appeared to slap a Player last night. this isn't anything new with Bobby Knight. yes he is One of college Basketball's Greatest Coaches Ever,but he is also a bit of a Nut case. this isn't the first time that Knight has put his hands on a player.if a Professor was named Bobby Knight that taught English or a social type of Program at a major college would a College allow this to go down? Bobby Knight's name carrys weight,but does it allow for another example of a coach who comes across more Bully than Teacher. everybody deserves another chance,but this Cat needs to stop the same ole same.

DR King gets his Statue on the National Monument

it took long enough but today Dr.martin Luther King JR finally got his Statue on the Washington DC National Monument. He became the first African-American to have a Statue there. timing is interesting when you consider the War in Iraq&the President Bush on hand for the ceremony when many people know that Dr. King would never be in favor of any kind of War. Oprah Winfrey,Jesse Jackson&Many other People were on hand for this special day to Acknowledge the Legacy&importance of Dr.King's Washington Monument "I have a Dream Speech"and also to acknowledge the impact of his speech&the area.

DR.Martin Luther King Jr Finally gets his place on DC

Today Dr.Martin Luther King Jr became the First African-American person to have a Statue on Washington's national Monument. George Bush,Oprah Winfrey&many other People were on hand for the Occassion that is long way overdue. DR.King truly changed this country. he was truly One of a Kind&he should be honored in every place in the United States&there should always be a tribute to his Legacy&overall Impact. I think it's great that Dr.King is being honored. George Bush wants to take attention off this War.if Dr.King were Alive he wouldn't tolerate what is going on over in Iraq. His words&overall Impact have last a lasting impact&shall always.

Miami Hurricane Player got Killed

College Player Bryan Pata if the Miami Hurricane's was killed earlier this past week. He was shot&killed. the Hurricanes played against Maryland yesterday&the Hurricane team had to have been playing with heavy hearts. it's always a shame when you hear of somebody dying so young&especially when they get killed like he did where gun fire was involved. Pata was a well respected player on the team&he was headed to the NFL as well. He had just left practice. Prayers go out to his family,friends&also Miami Hurricane supporters.

RIP to Ed Bradley

Ed Bradley passed today&It's a Major Loss. Ed Bradley was One of the Most Important Reporters to Emerge on Network Tv. it wasn't that long ago when he was the First African-American to Report at the white house. also on 60 Minutes&change the way Network Reporting was done not only on CBS,but on all other networks. everybody that came after Ed Bradley owes ths Man Big time for paving the way. He was so cool with how he would handle any situation. from Covering Vietnam to Interviewing Michael Jackson, Tiger Woods, the Strippers in the Duke Case recently. etc... Ed Bradley had a vibe about him that was like of a Man who was Down Home Folk.He was Smart,Witty&could just shoot the Breeze,but also get to the Point. Ed Bradley was a Wordly Soul Brother&a man who truly made a huge difference. He changed Tv. RIP.

Faith Hill's Reaction

last night at the country Music Awards Faith Hill had a real interesting reaction upon hearing that Carrie Underwood Won Best Female Artist of the year. Faith reacted like somebody who was truly ticked off that she had lost. was it staged or was that the general reaction? I recall seeing Samuel L.Jackson reacting when He lost a Academy Award some years back. I like real life reactions as to the fake contrived ones you usually see. everybody wants to win&it's only natural to react a certain way. you work hard&want to be the best. I would like to see more of this.a reaction from the stands. this also could be Faith doing a distance take on what Kayne West did over in Europe with crashing the stage because he lost a Video award&bum rushed the stage. who knows but I give Faith props for at least acting like it mattered.

Priviledge in America

20/20 the other night had a special show on Priviledge in america. it crosses Racially. White People&Black People are treated differently in America period. Age,Visual Appearences,&other factors are treated differently than others. Celebrity is treated here as Royality. there is a difference at how folks are treated&I was glad to see a show like this. it goes through all places.Racially speaking folks aren't always honest about how Priviledge is still a huge factor. Race,Money,Sex,etc.... all equal a certain Priviledge in the society.i welcome when a topic that speaks directly that covers a wide range of topics that speaks to all.

Bob Barker leaving the Price is right

end of a Era is fast coming up on the Price is Right. Bob Barker the timeless game show host of the Incredible Price is Right is hanging it up real soon. hard to believe that Bob Barker will be retiring. He has been a Part of tv for so long. He always had a Pressence about him. 35 years on the Price is Right& a total of 50 years on tv. He has left such a lasting impression. he is to the Game show much like Johnny Carson was to Late Night. you always knew the voice&the overall presentation&style. Bob Barker was always must see Day time watching right before I watched the Young&the Restless. there is a Golden era of tv that is truly going bye,bye with each passing year.when I was a Little Boy My GrandFather would imitate the announcement of the Price is right with the phrase "COME ON DOWN!!!!
