as the Phone Rings what do I say?
as I run to see who has called how do I respond?
as I glance at a chance to pick up the Phone what
will go through my mind&how will the words flow?
the cord line is free&my words are free
a flow of exchange comes over as moments of detail
are going through the lines&as if time were still every
word&meaning takes on a whole new vibe
how the electric system inspires so many emtions
that even two souls within breathing distance could never
compose upon face to face
