what a year this has been.so many things happening.War is still going on. Hurricane Katrina.court Cases from Scott Petterson,Robert Blake,sadamm Hussiun&Of course Michael Jackson which dominated the News reels&still has People talking about. Steriods in baseball&on Congress.Stanley Tookie Williams&the Death Penalty. George Bush wiring tappings&Countless other blunders that have been going on in the Political world.Tom Cruise acting a fool&Pimping His Beliefs.40 year old virgin was one of the "It" Movies.another Nerdy type of movie that blows up.R.Kelly captured the Imagination with His Epic Classic 'Trapped in the Closet". Mariah Carey&Green Day were the Musical Comeback Kids. 50 cent&Usher had successful Music runs,but both of there Movies went Brick.I-Pod is now going into Tv shows.the I-Pod is a compact to all forms of Entertainment&everything else in between.we lost Great Talent this year.Ossie Davis,Richard Pryor,Rosa Parks amongest others. so many things happen this year.next year should be interesting.

ABC Tv Farewell to Monday Night Football

tonights game between the New England Patriots&the New York Jets marks the end of Monday Night football on ABC tv&will start next year on Espn.while Monday Night football doesn't quite hold the same weight it once did,having it on ESPN seems a Bit much to me.tonight Don Meredith&Frank Gifford come back for one last night.RIP to the Late great Howard Cosell.He truly made Monday Night almost as much as the game itself.Roone Arledge was something else as a creator of the show.for 36 years on ABC Monday Night Football had something for everyone on the football Field&Especially in the Broadcast Booth.hard to believe there was a time before the Internet,before there was Multi Channels&Media.Monday Night Football was to Football like what Saturday Night Live was to comedy.a Dvd on the History of Monday Night Football would be awesome.

the two best teams in the League play first:Detriot&san Antonio&then the main event which is Shaq&Miami versus Kobe& Los Angeless Lakers. the Hype Machine has been going in full maximum overdrive. the World Champion Spurs play the Pistons which right now looks like a Preview of the Finals. the two best overall teams&both teams have the two Best records in the League. in the 2nd game Pat Riley&Phil jackson return to battle again.on the real:the NBA is going through One of it's worst times because there are only 3-4 teams tops that I see Winning it all.more like 3 to be fair if everything goes right.3 of them play Sunday&they are Detriot,Miami&San Antonio.

Prayers to Tony Dungy&Family

i was sadden to hear about the untimely passing of Tony Dungy's Son James who died earlier today&He was just a Kid at the age of 18.Tony Dungy is not Only a Great Coach but He is a Class Act period.Tony Dungy did a Great Job of coaching the Tampa Bay Bucs&now the Indianiapolis Colts.My Prayers go out to Mr.Dungy&His Family. RIP

Favre,Faulk,Mcnair,Sanders:NFL what shall happen?

Brett Favre,Marshall Faulk,Steve Mcnair,Dion Sanders are amongest Vets who are also Big time Stars who may be either moving on to other teams or might consider retirement. hard to say. seeing Dion&Favre out there last night¬ knowing if they will continue to play next year. there will be some movement.Marshall Faulk was a Special Player for quite a while.Steve Mcnair might be leaving the Titans.I think he still has 2-3 years left in the tank,but it depends on what direction He considers going in.time will tell,but regardless you have to thank these Great Players a big time thank you for what they did during there Prime.

it is a great time to be a Yankee Fan.this is the Best news we have gotten in a long long long time. even better we get even at Boston. we are gonna Run things this year.as a Die-Hard New York Yankee Fan I can honestly say I can't stand the Boston Red sox's at all. I'm hoping this year is the return to the Ring ceremonys that being a Yankee fan we are accustomed to.this was real news&it felt good to hear it&see it. the New York Yankees had been quiet all off-season thus far.what a big time happening.the Yankees Lineup is gonna be scary&I like it.

well the Indianapolis Colts lost yeesterday to the San Diego Chargers&that ended there dream of a Undefeated regular season. it's so tough to accomplish what the Miami Dolphins of 1972 did. I still see the colts as the favorites to go all the way to the Super Bowl in the AFC unless the New England Patriots catch fire.the San Diego chargers are a Scary team,but due to the fact that they lost to Pittsburgh early in the season they might miss the playoffs all together. that would be a A shame.right now in the AFC:the Colts,Bengals,Broncos,Patriots,Jagguars&maybe the Steelers or Chargers or kansas City might make the final cut. we shall see. over in the NFC:Seattle Seahowks Control there own destiny. then you got the Chicago Bears.after that the Carolina Panthers,New york Giants.Tampa Bay&Washington got a chance to get in. Atlanta looks done.Dallas looks done as well,but we shall see. this Football season on a whole was kinda lack-luster to me.Off-Field episodes had more going on than the field. in Detroit:matt Millen Must go. get Him out of there as the General Manager.I Wish My Buffalo Bills would get rid of Of our Coach&Gm as well. there are alot of Bums getting over calling themselves Coaches. I'm Proud of Tony Dungy. I always get excited seeing a Black Coach doing good.same thing with a Black Quarterback.I Hope the Playoffs are better than the Regular season has been.this is one of the most just kinda there type of seasons.Parity is looking really ugly right about now.in a way I'm glad Monday Night football is getting a make over because this year on a whole has been awful.

it would be awesome to buy what you wanted from your cable supplier than have to get what they want to give you.I mean selecting the Programs you want&spend how you want as to what they want to offer. more often than not there are about 50-60 channels which you don't even waste your time bothering with.I look forward to the day when you can pick what you truly want. with all the technilogy going on Cable Tv needs to Modernize there game&stop trying to use 1985-1986 rules.time to step up the game&give People a choice.

George Bush is just acknowledging something that many Americans have long thought&felt:Wire taps&Spying which has always been going down. now I feel that nobody should be Spying on anybody,but the President has said it's alright. Black Leaders were tapped all the time.when I hear about Spying the first thing that comes to mind is how it impacts the Black Community because Spying usually seperates&is targeted in a area.Phone being tapped, or other things has no business being listened in on unless there is a legit case or something going on.what are you Spying on again&Why??

I give it up big time to Morgan Freeman. He is a Black Man who pull sno punches. He said that he feels that Black History Month shouldn't be around because Black History is American History.I agree with Him.Problem is the Education System&Other Political Factors are too Racist too acknowledge the importance of Black People as a People that have truly made America even better than it could ever dream or dare to be. I watched 60 minutes last night&Agreed with His Sentiments&Feelings,but he knows like I do that there is too much Politics going on to ever a fully welcoming Society.there should be repairations for slavery as far as I'm concearned.Morgan Freeman is a free man&ain't afraid to speak his mind.I feel this way as well.don't care what anyone thinks,because you gotta be real¬ blinded behind Political Correctness.

Rapper,Film-maker&Multi-Tasker Ice Cube is taking on Society soon on Fox Tv with a 6 part series that deals with a Black Couple&a White Couple that switches places&See how Life is.the couples come from Califronia&Georgia respectively. it's gonna be very interested to see the Racial Dynamics in 2006&see how People truly feel. I can already tell you that I'm expecting alot of Eye Opening situations for some People who think there aren't still Racial Issues in the 21rst century. Ice Cube has always been Political&made strong statements.I can't wait for this Show because this ain't another Reality Tv show,but a Reality show that deals with the Real.

found out today that in Europe alot of folks ain't feeling Arnold Schwarzenegger's choice at allowing the Execution of Stanley Tookie Williams earlier Tuesday Morning. many People who aren't in favor of the death penality came to rally all during last night.this will be interesting at how this places out toward Schwarzenegger's legacy as a Govornor&also gotta wonder if anything ever comes up that shows that Tookie Williams should have gotten a Life term sentence or even a new trial.this is a Interesting History lesson that in time will sway People one way or the other,but right now there is alot of tension on the matter.time will tell.

RIp Richard Pryor:the King of Comedy

I can't even begin to express how I feel right now upon finding out about that One of My childhood heroes had died. Pryor was like Muhammad Ali to me as a Kid:a Voice that spoke of the Uplift of Black Folks&told it like it was. he wasn't scared&was always being about making Change. He was a Ground-Breaker,Trail-Blazer&One of those Voices that Dominated&you never forgot Him.I have DVD's,Tapes,Box Sets,Book&things on Richard Pryor&they represent what he was about. He felt like a Family member. you can't mention Black Comedians¬ Mention Pryor. White Comedians also are in debt to His Genius as well.He meant so much.my soul was in tears upon hearing about his death.He was a Incredible soul who touched so many Lives. Mudbone was Pure Genius&had no limits. He will never be forgotten&He somehow is still vastly Underrated to me. He should have a Statute&other big time tributes in his honor because he meant so much&more.the Man lived like 2 lives&despite his upbringing He overcame so many obstacles. he was a strong Cat who had no limits.

I watched R.Kelly Perform before the Taylor&Hopkins Fight last Sauturday Night. He turned the National Anthem into the south Side of chicago's trademark Stepping vibe.I feel the National Anthem should be a uplifting expereince.I applauded Jimi Hendrix&Marvin Gaye who also did there own thing with the Anthem.same thign with Jose Feleciano. there ain't nothing wrong with adding flavor to the Anthem.as a matter of fact to sing Highly&Feel Good about your Country is a Wonderful thing.who says the National Anthem has to sound like Funneral Music??

hard to Believe it's been 25 years.I remember getting my picture taken at a Local Photo place with my Mother&Hearing about John Lennon's death.I thought it was chilly&Wrong. I respected the Beatles&Feel that John Lennon left a lasting mark as a Musician.seem just like yesterday. the news really came through a Monday Night Football game between New England&Miami in Miami.the Late Great Howard Cosell made the announcement about John Lennon being shot&Killed. they were friends.His Legacy is as strong as Ever.His Widow Yoko Ono maintains His legacy.His Sons Julien&Sean are also Musicians. he spoke of Peace,Love&Justice.

this is what everybody in college Football wanted&we are gonna get it in a few weeks. the Top teams.usually the BCS Poll doesn't get it right,but this year they got it right. these are the Best two Two College Football teams.Texas is lead by Vince Young who is up for a Heisman Nomination.USC Quarterback Matt Liener who won the heisman last year is up for it again,but His Teammate Reggie Bush should easily win it this year.Bush reminds so many folks who have followed USC Football of Legends OJ Simpson&Marcus Allen. this Rose Bowl should be a classic&I can't wait to see it. this Bowl Game should be far more interesting then the Super Bowl this year.
