why does the Media Sugarcoat Race?

it's funny how if I watch a sports show that might have Terrell Owens as a subject matter things don't get talked about like they should. Race is in everything&Everywhere you go. so I Often why the Media will go into topics&Issues,but do a 180 when it comes to being upfront about Racial Matters?? I would like to hear more directness on the subject matter,but more often than not you get the Politically correct response. Terrell Owens spoke His mind&There is no doubt in my mind that a Black Man especially in corperate America is gonna truly be watched&Rode for speaking His Mind. there is a Double standard.be it Politics,Entertainment,etc... there is a always Double talk on a Subject that should have answers without hiding behind a Camera or not having a spine to speak your Mind.
