it's interesting what we enjoy for Entertainment. 50 cent has had a Gret comeback since 2003 with 2 huge Solo Albums,as well as a Soundtrack to His film,along with selling a Book on his Life,His own Label G-Unit Records,Shoes,clothes&Others ventures. meanwhile Usher: had a Huge year last Year with His Album "Confessiions" His 5th Album which Sold a ton of records. he had a Huge Tour along with starting up a Credit card&getting a little bit of the cleveland Cavilars basketball team,home of Lebron James. so while both had Huge years from there Music, recently it didn't translate to the Big screen.50 Cents Movie might still make 30 million but that is far from what was expected considering all the Hype&negativity that the Billboard for the film caused. likewise Usher got back into making films again with this latest film:"In the mix". His film will be lucky to crack 15 million in return.just because you are a High profile Artist doesn't mean people will pay to see your film.it's very dicy&risky to a career.bad Movies&Box Office tank jobs ain't Hurt Madonna's career.

this coming Saturday News will come out on who makes the Pro Football Hall of fame. last weekend Michael Irvin was arrested for having Drugs in his Car. now the big question will the Pro football Hall of Fame use this against Irvin when it comes to Inducting Him into the Hall?? it's funny how if I watch a sports show that might have Terrell Owens as a subject matter things don't get talked about like they should. Race is in everything&Everywhere you go. so I Often why the Media will go into topics&Issues,but do a 180 when it comes to being upfront about Racial Matters?? I would like to hear more directness on the subject matter,but more often than not you get the Politically correct response. Terrell Owens spoke His mind&There is no doubt in my mind that a Black Man especially in corperate America is gonna truly be watched&Rode for speaking His Mind. there is a Double standard.be it Politics,Entertainment,etc... there is a always Double talk on a Subject that should have answers without hiding behind a Camera or not having a spine to speak your Mind.

last week outside of the Tampa bay&chicago football game there was a Moble Trailer having a strip show in the Parking lot. most of the time in the Parking Lot of football sundays there are tailgate partys,but this is a whole different story.this is a whole new way to kick off a sunday in the parking lot of a football game. you never know what's going on but Sex is a Part of the selling of Pro football.so this is a new day&time.

the tv show Dallas is One of the Greatest Tv shows Ever to me period. Larry Hagman known as JR. Ewing captured the pulse of the Tv Imagination back in the day. JR Ewing became so Hated that many people on the Tv Show wanted to get even with JR Ewing. it was a World-Wide Sensation that made it's way on to so many things. I bought Seasons 1-3 so far on Dvd&Will always love this Show. nothing like the southfork Ranch&the Legend of Jr.Ewing.

1 year since the rumble in Auburn Hills

hard to believe it's been a year since what went down between the Indiana Pacers&the Detriot Pistons. while Ron Artest became the scapegoat&He did get things going,Ben Wallace did equal with pushing back Artest&then everything else went into the stands. it was a ugly episode for the NBA.alot of drinking&Tension got things very un-civil in a hurry. fast-forward a year later& i gotta believe the dress code passed by David stern was in part that the NBA's Image took a beaten behind thing scene.it was a scary scene to see on tv in a game that was pretty much over with the Pacers blowing out the Pistons that night. but it was a one time type of thing&it's business as usual.

sacremento was wrong for what they did to detroit in basketball

I couldn't get over how the Sacremento handler of the Scoreboard was allowed to display images of Detroit.personally I think it was loaded&Racist. why was Detroit picked out of all the citys?? Sacremento' main basketball rival was the Los Angeless Lakers so for the Sacremento Scorebaord staff to show negative images of the city detroit was pretty disturbing&un-called for. no matter how many ads the Sacremento Kings owners take out,it's still foul&wrong to even have had that go down like that.the trip out thing:the Detroit Pistons play in the Suburbs of Auborn Hills.so if you are gonna diss a team than get it all right or don't mess with it at all.

tonight the return of Phil Jackson versus Larry Brown

the game itself was kinda lack-luster.Kobe Bryant had a good game&He got some help tonight. the Knicks are still very young&got a ways to go.but the last time Phil Jackson&Larry Brown faced off was during the 2004 Finals in which Brown's then Pistons beat the Lakers 4 games to 1 to Secure Brown's first Championship as a coach&also sent Phil Jackson into a temporary Retirement.fast forward 19 months later&both coaches are each being paid 10 million dollars,but there work ahead is gonna be real challenging. this season will really showcase what each coach is made of&where they are heading.stay tunned.one thing is for sure:the finals they were in back in 01 when Phil&the Lakers beat Larry when he was coaching the Philidephia 76ers&also Larry's then Pistons beating Phil's Lakers in 2004 are distant memorys now because neither team is gonna see the finals anytime soon except on there tv sets like the rest of us.

Congradulations to Both Baseball Players for winning.Alex Rodriquez of the New York yankees, just edged Boston's David Ortiz in a very close MVP in the american League. meanwhile Albert Pujols of the St.Louis Cardinals edged Andruw Jones of the Atlanta braves.this year was a really good year for the MVp race.highly tight race. some folks are still going after A-Rod because of His lackluster post-season this past year.but During the Regular season A-Rod brought it.He is the first Yankee to Win the Regular season MVp since Don mattingly did it.Congradulations to Both&these are two of the Best Players playing now&Argualy will go down as two of the Greatest Ever.

call it Pressure from Congress,but whatever it is the new rules call for a First time offender getting 50 games, a 2nd offender getting 100 days&a 3rd time offender getting a Lifetime ban with a subject to being re-enstated after 2 years. interesting,but it makes sense.Baseball had to do something to appear as the tough guy.everybody knew that there was some funny business going on. this new testing also calls out enhanced drugs as well.we shall see how it all plays itself out,but why did it take pressure from congress to get a stronger message out?? of course there will be a trade-off with the Players.things will get interesting.

tired of Pro sports Parity

the NFL this year only has 6 legit teams from Both Conferences. Only Won team looks truly Great&that is the Indiaapolis Colts. everybody else looks like they are suited for 2nd on down. the rest of the NFL looks Average to Blah. meanwhile watching the NBA for the first 3 weeks it mirriors the same Problem that I see in the NFL. NBA East is way stronger than the NBA West. in the East Miami,Detriot&Indiana are the Best teams.out West San Antonio Spurs the World Champions are the Best Out West&the Only real team out west.I'm tired of Sports Parity because this year it has reared it's ugly head¬hing is making it that interesting. all that is happening is that about 2-3 teams are for Real in Major sports&then you got 2-3 teams that are good.after that it's 20 teams that are average to Stinky.Parity is in all parts of Life&Entertainment. on a Daily basis I bet you encounter 3-5 People that truly got there thing together&then you encounter 3-5 that are cool.and the rest are average to lost.it seems to be that sometimes.

trying to figure out how T.O. got a 8 game suspension,meanwhile Kobe Braynt had a Case against Him&He later runs off Shaq,His Coach Phil Jackson&Later Karl Malone&Gets Rewarded with a Big contract how does that work? some Folks I talk to think of T.O. as being a Brother who speaks His mind&some folks voice Kobe as a corperate sell-out.depends on where you stand with it.now I think Kobe is a Great Player,but how does He get so much control with a team&T.O. gets shafted?? I compare the two thinking about the impact each had on there respective teams&sports. I truly feel that T.O. is getting a raw deal.He spoke his mind&didn't violate or have anything serious to merit what He has been dealt with.Kobe on the other hand got to keep on going meanwhile to me He was a very disruptive distraction to His team,but Money&Politics can seperate certain similar things that are treated as night&day.

November 11nth is Veterens day.My Grandfather Thurman was in the navy during World War 2.He was a Hero to me not only as a Person but for serving.every Veterens day or th of july we would remember by putting out our flag.while I don't favor any type of war or any battle that People lose there lives,I Salute all Vets who have pathed the way for America.from the past,present&future every Vet is a National Hero. when I heard about two Carolina Panthers FootBall cheerleaders getting Busy in a Bathroom I started thinking of the Digital Underground song"the Humpty Dance".this is the latest in a long line of crazy run ins with the Law for that team.Rai Curruth,Nate Newton,Fred Lane,Kerry collins&now this.always something associated with that football team or so it seems. these two Cheerleaders couldn't wait to get together&when other ladies had to go to the bathroom they were met with fists&Hostility. the Cheerleaders got let go by the Panthers team&face some charges.personally this ain't really news&I think that while they should be given some sort of Punishment,that firing them at the answer on a whole.it's comical on some levels well on many,but considering the team&there track record with unfortunate events this is another no,no.

why are Record companys pushing Re-Released Albums?

Mariah Carey has had a Great comeback year.but why is Her Record company pushing a Re-Release with only 2-3 new tracks within a 6 month time period?? last Year Usher's Record Label did the same thing. it's always great when a Artist sells alot of Records,but why re-package the same record with only 2-3 new songs?? it's one thing if a Record Company does something 10-20 years later on a Classic Album like Michael Jackson's Off the wall or Thriller with adding commentary,bonus material&whatnot,but just because a Album sells alot in the now doesn't mean to re-release it with only 2-3 new cuts&expect people to pay full price.that is just wrong.these Labels&some of these Artists wonder why people down-load?? use some common sense.I say if you are gonna put out another re-packaged Project then have a whole new album's worth of material.fans love Outtakes,raritys,etc..but don't manipulate the situation like this.

so it seems that the Philidelphia Eagles are gonna suspend Terrell Owens for His latest Comments which is truly wrong. the Eagles right now are stinking. yeah they are 4&3 but they are a Lucky 4&3.Dononvan Mcnabb needs to get Repaired.His Body has taken a seriosu beaten.now Terrell Owens has His Issues,but overall he is right.also the Eagles had to know that T.O. will speak His Mind be it if you agree or not. the Eagles aren't playing any kind of defense this year&have had to come back in almost half of there games thus far this season.Owens blasted the team,Mcnabb from the Summer through now.I think they have to trade Him&get something back,but He ain't there biggest Problem,there Problem stems for not coming together as a team.they are lacking that unity that got them to 4 straight NFC Conference Games&to One Super Bowl.there has to be a happy Medium somewhere??

so today i found out that a former Hockey coach&Gm is Illiterate.Jacques Demer who once coached the Montreal Canadiens to the Stanley Cup Finals&also was a Gm around the Hockey League is Illiterate&this isn't that shocking.some people get places without knowing basic reading&math skills. in this life it's more about who you know than what you know.alot of People especially back in the day didn't think Athletes were smart beyond being gifted at what they did,but this comes outta left field when a Coach&a GM admits that they are illiterate.I bet there are more who got through,but this ain't that much of a Biggie these days.Jacques Demers has a Book out&this should make a interesting read.

so Dr.Phil went on Jay Leno's show last night&said that He believed that Natalee Holloway was still alive&Being used in the Sex trade industry overseas.now I wonder when did Dr.Phil become Oliver Stone?? He is making some interestign comments,but the Problem is where is the Proof??Dr.Phil to me on more than one occasion has made statements about People&whatnot&has left alot more question than any real answers.to me he is vastly overrated&i still don't know where&why Oprah Winfrey blew Him up as being so Important in the first place??Dr.Phil here seems to be grasping for straws without any real Proof why am I not surprised??

BET 25th Anniversary

last night I watched the Anniversary show.it was great seeing Donnie Simpson back.Robert Johnson was Honored all through the show as the founder of BET.it was very Important then&as it is now at having a Black Network that focused on the News from a Black Perspective because far too often the Black voice isn't given the Proper view&take. now don't get me wrong BET ran alot of it's own talent away for various reasons&last night I could tell there was some mising voices&a certain emptyness there.but the Performances that stood for me last night were:R.kelly who just showcased His Musical genius covering His career.Earth,wind&Fire did there thing&were the first Video played on the Network.New Edition including Bobby Brown did there thing.there was a nice Gospel perforamcnes as well.steve harvey did a nice tribute to Luther Vandross&like Steve harvey said we use to call him Luffa.it was a night to remember over the past 25 years of what BET meant,what it means&also going into the future.a toast to BET.it's been a Interesting journey thus far.

NBA is Back tonight

with all that has gone down in the off-season it's back to the Court until June.I want the Miami Heat to win of course.want Shaq to Win it all again.I expect the Champion San Antonio Spurs to Be back up for the Finals again. this year marks the return of Phil Jackson back to the Los angeless Lakers&getting back with Kobe Bryant.there is gonna be alot of story lines.in the east you have the Miami Heat,Indiana Pacers,Detroit Pistons,Cleveland Cavs&Other teams to keep a eye on.out west it's the spurs,Rockets,mavericks&other teams coming on up.NBA will it be Fantastic or kinda there?? we shall see.looking forward to the season.welcome Back NBA!!
