Wellington Mara the New York Giants Owner passed this week. the New York Giants Went out&Stomped the Washington Redskins. huge Win for the Giants.36-0. Tedy Bruschi came back for New England&the Patriots ralled to beat my Buffalo Bills who Choked the game away last night.no other way to put it.Tdy Bruschi hasn't played in 8 months after he Suffered a Stroke.He is quite remarkable.alot of people bad mouth modern day but a guy like Tedy Bruschi shuts all the Hate down.He might not go down as a Great Player,but he is as Tough as anybody who has ever played the game.the Patriots beat the Bills 21-16. elsewhere the Philidelphia Eagles got slammed by the Denver Broncos.Donnovan Mcnabb needs some surgery because He is Hurt.Terrell Owens is holding it down,but the Eagles are horrible on Defense.Tom Benson the New Orleans Saints Owner got into it with a fan.It's a known fact he wants to Move the team out of New Orleans. right now aside from the Indianapolis Colts there really isn't another Great team out here. there game next monday night versus the New England Patriots is huge.we shall see.

it's that time of the year where a Good Horror Movie,Popcorn is the thing to have&watch.Halloween Brings that out of People or is it just the time of the year where a good scream is in order?? so many to select from over the years.I liked Horror movies from back in the day a bit more.I always liked the Kind of Horror Movie that made you scared to go into another room. you never knew what to expect next.a Movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Congradulations to the Chicago white sox's

it's been 88 years but tonight the Chicago white Sox's won it all.they also did it in a Ground-Breaking way with a Black Man as the General Manager in Ken Williams&a Latino Manger in Ozzie Gullen. but the whole white sox team came to win. Congradualtions also to the Houston Astros for a great season as well.but there was something magical about Chicago this year once they Swept Boston in the first round.talk about Irony?? Boston was the champions last year after waiting a really long time at winning last year. this year it was Chicago's time.while my New York Yankees got knocked out by the LA Angels&there season ended way to early for me,I gotta tip my cap to Chicago. they were very Talented,Together&had luck as well.all things added up&They are the World Champions of 2005.Props to the CHI-Town&all the Players,Staff,Manger,GM,Owner.

Frankie Beverly&Maze live in New Orleans is High amongest my all time favorite Live Albums Ever. hard to believe that next year marks the 25th anniversary of that Album.it still moves me&feels so Good to my ears.Frankie Beverly&Maze to me are Black folks Grateful dead,Rolling Stones, in that frankie Beverly&Maze ain't even had a Hit in 15 years but whenever they tour it's always sold out.frankie Beverly has had surgery on his throat&Nowadays the fans Help Him sing the classics.thinking back to the concert also made me think of the recent sad events in new orleans with Katrina&the Impact.watching the DVd Recently or hearing the Album reminds me of the Soul of New Orleans.moments as hearing that album takes me back&also reminds me of New Orleans now."Joy&Pain" comes on&I Reflect many emotions all at once.

Fisher Deberry said the obvious when it comes to football in college&on the Pro Level:that the Black Athlete is the most sought after as a Running Back,corner Back,etc... I was laughing today watching ESPN's "Around the Horn" Guys saying how Deberry should be fired&the guys scremaing foul were White.the thing is Deberry said what Every college Coach knows&who they draft which are black Atheletes for speed.the Politically Correct Police will be out in full force questioning His Comments,but He didn't say anything wrong or anything that should get Him Suspended or Fired.I thought it was looney of Air force to make the man Apologys.I was like he didn't say anything wrong at all.He spoke the obvious.when you look at the NFL how Corner backs,Safetys,etc.... are White? that ain't racial but Factual. the Air force not only wants more Black Athletes but also more Black Folks for the service.it's a tie in.

watching the Baseball Post-season&thus far all of these years always hearing how chicago Baseball teams were cursed,well the Umpires ain't been listening,because the White-Sox's are getting all the breaks. meanwhile in football the New Orleans Saints can't seem to catch a break.not only being without a Home this year because of Hurricane katrina,but they have been hit with some bad calls going against them the past few weeks.reversal of Fourtune.never know how the ball is gonna roll or how the calls are gonna go.it's real interesting how things are playing themselves out thus far between what is happening.

RIP to a Beautiful Strong Black Lady who forever changed so much. sitting on the Bus is taken for granted,but Rosa Parks paved the way to sit where we wanted on a Bus.it was more than a Bus ride,but a symbol that you can't push me no more because I'm tired of being treated like Property.Rosa Parks motivated so many people to think for themselves&to lead in so many areas of live. she Lived to Be 92&that was a Great Age.She changed the way we viewed life&treated each other. she was a Trail-Blazer&was someone that I read about&never forgot what she Meant&Represented. today alot of Simple Freedoms are taken for granted,but it wasn't that long ago that riding a Bus being Black meant having to go to the back of the Bus.Rosa Parks changed all of that&stood her Ground.

what a week this has been??? the San Fransico Mother of 3 who threw her Kids into the Water. I say if you got problems or you can't cope then give your Kids to someone who can Help&Take care of them. also lock up your knee Caps to Prevent.1) Daniel Horowitz's Wife was Killed inside there Home by a 16 year old Boy. that is truly sad. this didn't just happen by accident. 2) a Man in Oklahoma was Sentenced to 30 years in Prision but He Suggested a extra 3 years to match Larry Bird's Jersey Number. this ain't the kind of Honor that I expect Larry Bird to speak on anytime soon. 3) Can't go to the Supermarket without seeing the tabloids talking about this Couple or that Couple. same ole places&Faces&all of these People try to sell there storys on Oprah Winfrey's show. which I can take or leave. her show has some important shows&then other episodes which i don't even waste my time with Her playing to the Camera. 4) Condi Rice&Hillary Clinton talking about maybe a Future Showdown for the White House?? stay tunned. 5) 60 Minutes has turned into a Confessional for Former Athletes:Jose Canseco,Bill Romonoski&now Michael Jordan. something tells me that this is the Male Version of Promoting your Book as to going to Oprah. 6) Hurricane Wilma: not to make light of the matter but I'm thinking the Flinstones&Cracking up over that Name. 7)

unlike many people I never felt that Michael Jordan was the Greatest Player Ever.One of the Greatest but not the Greatest. On 60 Minutes He is talking about His gambling&His past.I wonder what is He hinting at besides trying to sell another Book in a few weeks? I Personally feel He is still too Robitc for me.He never says anything.how is He gonna clal Modern Athletes Spoiled when he Himself benefited from a wider Market?? He helped Paved the way for what is going on with the Commercialism of the Modern NBA.I mean His Nike Trademark is all over Pro sports,etc...Oscar Robertson said it best about Jordan to me:the Marketing of Him often over-rode His actual Game.i still feel He was suspended from the NBA back in 94-through early 95 for His Gambling.His Baseball career is about as Believable as Eddie Murphy or Don Johnson's singing career???Jordan was always the Media's favorite&Nothing ever went against Him.He never talked to me about Issues.He never moved like Magic Johnson or Shaq has as not only as a Player but also as a Person.I Respect Jordan a great deal,but something always leaves me feeling kinda cold whenever He speaks on things.I feel for His Loss where His Father is concearned.but Jordan ain't never been vocal enough for me.

I was laughing so hard at this cat. he is a salesman big time.trying to sell his book. this dude took alot of steriods,was a Bigot&was very smug about his own being during his time in the NFL&Yet you sit there listening to everything he has to say because nobody else has gone this far about the NFL since Tim Green did.this Cat is somebody that I never liked because of His Cheap tactics&actions on the field. he never hid what He did ,but He has a Personality that will get him a Job on Tv in the future.I hate to say this but alot of networks will turn the other eye for him.He has a chance at being another Rush Limbaugh,Bill O'Reily type&you know there direction on issues.

Chicago Versus Houston in the World Series

two Major Citys playing for the Ring.the White Sox's hadn't been to the show in 46 years. the Astros had never been to the Show at all in there whole time in the Leagues. something has to give between these two teams.talk about two Teams that whoever wins ends Curses?? The Astros up until now had come close but never had gotten this far in the past. the WHite-Soxs everybody knows about Shoe-Less Joe Jackson&the Thrown World series back in 1919. the Astros have had alot of Great Players over the Years but things finally came together as one this year. it should be a real Interesting Series. I got Family in Both citys. we shall see.

to be personally Vanity Fair is your typical Racist Mainstream Magazine. they have only had a handful of Black People on there Covers over the past decade.always making up some Jive excuse about why they don't have Black People on there Covers. so upon further viewing Beyonce is lighten up quite a bit on the Cover.the story is also Mis-leading about Beyonce as a Hip-Hop Artist? that is funny. Vanity Fair is doing the opposite of what Tiem Magazine did to OJ Simpson when they had His Mug Shot on the cover back in 1994.things never change.Rolling Stone magazine had Beyonce Knowles on the Cover a few years back&mainly talked about Her features being non-threatening. things haven't changed in that if you look more accessible to the main-stream than you tend to get more shine.same ole Politics.

My Buffalo Bills are in First place

it feels so good that my football team is in first place.back in the 90's it wasn't nothing but a thing to be in first place,but the past few years it's been shaky.we had to replace our QuarterBack&that has been a good thing because we have Won back to back games after looking like we were gonna be a lottery team there for a while.Willis Mcaghee our Running Back has been having a All Pro year.we ain't where we need to be all the way,but with New England losing,injured&Looking down right Oridinary these days we got a chance to Win our division.we have the Talent to take it all.I always go into every year saying we are gonna win it all&this year is no exception.we shall see how the season plays itself out,but right now we are looking pretty good for a change.we gotta tighten up on defense&get our Wide Recievers some more touches on Offense,but other than that it feels good again being a Bills Fan.

Michelle Wie is a Pro Golfer at the age of 16.the NBA is still trying to raise the age required to enter the league which is just plain Racist&horible. what is the difference between being a Pro in One sport as to another as a Kid?? if oyu can make a Living&Makes things better for yourself&your family then what is the Problem?? not everybody is cut to go College. lets be real:if you weren't good then nobody would put you into those places of the Major ranks.somebody saw&knows something.you have to be good to reach that level of competition at such a young age.so I always say go for it because nobody knows what anyone can do without a chance&if you are gifted to being in a Position of doing something then I say go for It!!!!

College football weekend was Great

my Michigan Woolverines are stinking up the year for the most part,but that Win yesterday versus Penn State was huge,because it came at the end of the game.Penn State was un-defeated going into the game. the other big game which felt like a title game was USC versus Notre Dame which came down to the wire.Usc pulled it out. this is what I've been waiting for a college football weekend that brought me out of my seat. I dig Games that come down to the Wire. I still say that Usc&Texas are the two Best teams overall that I have seen play&Hopefully they wil battle it out for the natiional Title in January.time will tell but this was the Best college Football weekend that I have seen in a long,long time.

a bad call tonight in the white Sox's Versus Angels game

so tonight's game in chicago between the chicago white Sox's&the Los Angeless Angels ended in Controversy.in what should have been the third out the ump called a 3rd strike&signaled a out,but the hitter for the White sox's ran to first base&was called safe.hopefully this blown call won't come back to haunt the Angels&the Irony of the matter is that baseball teams in chicago are called cursed ain't that something? while many people including myself was expecting the Yankees&the Red Sox's. but this Series is gonna catch alot of attention after tonight.

Minnisota Vikings:more offense on a Boat than on the Field

if you follow the NFl then you have heard about the Minnisota Vikings Football team having a Party on a Boat.they apparently got down&Wild on a Boat.Fred smoot's the Vikings CornerBack had one of the boats rented in his name.the way Smoot's has been getting burned on the Field this year at least for One Night He was Covering all bases. this wouldn't be such a big deal,but after how this same very team ran All-Pro Randy Moss out of town for blaming Him for alot of there on field&off Field Issues this is a trip.not surprised or shocked really because the Vikings Head coach Mike Tice was trying to scalp Super Bowl Tickets just last year.always something going on with that team.they can't score no touchdowns on the field but on the Boat they seemed to Score pretty well from what is being reported.

end of the season for my New York Yankees

this season for my New York Yankees was tough.ups&alot of downs. Won the American league divison title,but lost tonight.the Yankees got eliminated byt Los Angeless Angels for the 2nd time in the past 3 years.there are gonna be some changes which I can see.the Yankees expect to Own October&Not be finished.this was a tough loss tonight.it's been 5 years since my Yankees Won it all.the World series Wins seem quite a while ago with how things have gone since 2000.looking toward next year&I hope Joe Torre is back.Joe is the Best Manager in Baseball&He represents the the Yankees to the fullest.Bernie Williams we shall see if He comes back or not.Bernie Williams has been One of the Best Yankees Ever.big time clutch player.Derek Jeter was His Usual on point clutch self.we shall see what the Boss is gonna do.

Hockey is back

I'm not the biggest Hockey fan,but I'm glad it's back because whatever sport moves you then you get excited&there is nothing worse than a Sports stoppage.I never like it when it happens with the NFL,NBA&MLB so I can imagine what Hockey fans were feeling?? sports fans no matter what there sport get hyped&are prepared for there team to do well.so when your season is cancelled it truly hurts.it's tough for Athletes because money&Family suffer.fans suffer when they can't cheer on there favorite team or players.

you know it's bad enough it's only been a Month since Hurricane katrina&things are back to Normal in New Orleans.a 64 year old Black Man being Beat up by the Police.He wasn't drunk or causing any problems,but it was business as usual.nobody can justify this incident going down.it was wrong period.Bourbon Street is just slowly getting back on it's feet&this is what is going on?I was thinking that when New Orleans does get itself together the way the City goes about dealing with all the loses of People,places&things that New Orleans could have a Hand in how People view Race Relations there,but when incidents as this happen it sets the city back 50 plus years.I don't care what nobody says this is a mess&needs to end.a City already Broken down doesn't need to add a Racial beat down when the city itself is still recovering.

if you are a New York yankees fan as I am then you are so excited that the Boston Red Sox's got beat last night&are out of the post-season. it was so tiring last year when they won it all last year.I tip my cap to the Red Sox's for being a Great Team&never quitting,but this past year was just too much about heairng about them all the time.so I'm glad they got Swept&are Home this Post-season.hopefully my Yankees can beat the Angels&Move on.most Baseball fans were expecting a showdown between the Yankees&Redsox's but it ain't gonna happen this year.i still say that the Boston Red Soxs were a Jerri Curl Away from Possibly getting back to the World Series.that Jerri Curl belong to One Pedro Martinez.they were a strong Arm Pitcher away from being straight.Congradulations to the Chicago White Sox's for ending 88 years of not winning a Playoff Series.

Joe Frazier a true Power Fighter&packed alot of punch.He was the Yang to Muhammad Ali's Ying. they were the Wilt Chamberlin&Bill Russell of Boxing.they were always a main event.Ali&Frazier is how we today get when we see the New York Yankees&Boston Red Soxs. that fight back in the day had intensity,drama,highs&lows. there was never a minute you could dare miss.even to this day,even knowing the outcome that Muhammad Ali won the fight,it was a battle of Two warriors just laying it all on the line.that Era of Boxing was a whole different time period when compared to today.back then the Best fought each other unlike now when cats have some make believe belt&can avoid fighting one another.

this past couple of weeks saw George Bush Endorse both John Roberts&Harriet Miers&there are alot of Puzzlement going on throughout the Country with these Choices.John Roberts never said mch during His Hearings to getting His Bid at making it to the Supreme Court. Harriet Miers is very compelling because She isn't even a Judge&Her views are all over the place on various topics. these two choices by Bush are gonna determine a part of His legacy in the future.no pun intended,but the jury is still out on these two,but the same can be said about Bush as well as a President especially with everything that has gone done during His Adminstration&everything that has gone down the past 2 months.stay tunned.

Robert Moog Invented the Moog Synthesizer which over the years has been used on countless Albums,Tapes&Discs of Music that has kept my head Bopping,Fingers snapping&Toe tapping.the Moog has a distinctive tone&Sound.I've heard quite a few of them over the years&always enjoyed there Tone&Feel.Technilogy is always Progressing,but the Moog Synthesizer was truly ahead of it's time just as Robert Moog was.RIP.

last Night Roy Jones Jr fought a Good fight&looked better this time than the last time against Antonio Tarver but still he is done.Roy Jones Jr is still a Really good Fighter,but His best days as a Dominate Fighter are over.He saved face last night because His Last two Fights the One against Tarver&the Other one against Glenn Jones he looked Like he might be carried out of the Building as to being able to walk.but Roy Jones Jr Fought Good last night,but just not good enough to Win.I Hope He doesn't stay in the Ring much longer because it is Curtains for the Guy.He is One of the Greatest Skilled Fighters that I have Ever seen,but He is rolling now off yesteryear.Antonio Tarver is a Great Fighter&He knows that He ain't in the same market as Roy Jones Jr so I understand Him taking the pay day.Tarver&Bernard Hopkins haven't gotten there due&just as with other forms of Entertainment Politics&marketing all play a role who gets that Dollar&who has to wait&wait for there time to shine.Antonio Tarver showcased His Skills Last Night.

October is a Beautiful Month

i was thinking as I was watching the Lives outside my House at how beautiful this Month truly is.Orange coloring which happens to be my favorite Color.there is a feeling a Crisp air,but yet fragments of Summer kinda still there.it's funny how DayLight savings time&Halloween all happen in this One Month. it's has alot of things in it.I be thinking of Eating some Pumkin Pie as well.yeah October makes me feel good&yet all my favorite times are in the Summer,but there is something cool about October.I even dig the Name.

hard to believe it's been 20 years since Rock Hudson came out&Acknowledged He had Aids. this was a Hollywood Leading Man who was the first Major Face of Aids in Hollywood. what has happen since then? did it change people's Preception of Rock Hudson as a Actor&Person?? did it wake up people about the impact&Effect of Aids?? seeing him on tv with His Movie Co-Star Dorris Day standing by His Side was a strange feeling,but the Reality didn't really hit alot of People.has Hollywood changed much since Rock Hudson came out with his News? naw not really.things make waves for a Minute&then go away.back then just Because He was Gay it was passed off,but the Reality is that it touchs all lives.

personally I still feel OJ Simpson was Innocent.it's funny how OJ Simpson went from being seen as Collin Powell to Nat Turner over night after the verdict was read.Race Relations in the United States always been bad to barely Tolerable. OJ Simpson is One of the Greatest Football Players Ever Period.being Not Guilty ain't changed any minds.He has been Ignored.the Ignorance of OJ Simpson at getting a Tv show,Movie Roles,etc... further shows the Racism&great Divide that still is going on 10 years later.Robert Blake ain't being subjected to the same Media Loathing&Treatment that OJ Simpson still faces to this day.I Wonder why?? no matter what anyone says Race is the still the Greatest Diease that America has&sadly there will never be a Cure unil America can Fess up to it's Ugly Past&the Mis-Treatment of Black People in America.OJ was the First Black Athlete that truly Crossed-Over He had that "IT".but after the Verdict he got treated like He almost never mattered&that is the furthest thing from the truth.10 years later&Depending on who you talk to there is still some strong comments,feelings&Emotions when the Name OJ Simpson is mentioned.i say People need to move on,but saying&doing it are two totally different things.

this is probably the best Season when you consider all the the negatives forces working against the yankess this Season.Joe Torre has Arguably Managed His Best Season as a Yankee Manager when you factor in Injurys,Jason Giambi(Who I Knew would be alright because the Man Can Hit Period)Pitching been shaky all season. all expectations&over 200 Million Dollar PayRoll&still dealing with the fact that Boston Redsoxs Won it all last year.so this Victory Today&Winning the Division was Huge.no matter what happens I'm always with my Yankees. this Year was truly a RollerCoaster ride but oh what a feeling at Winning today.Props to Gary Shieffield,A-Rod,Jeter,Giambi,Bernie,Riveria,Big Unit,Matsua&Everybody else that has made this year great for Yankee Fans everywhere.
