August is coming on strong

hard to believe but it's already almost back to school. where does the summer go? heck that is something that has never changed to me. when i was a Kid June&July always flew by&then it was time to get School clothes. well as a Grown Man it's the same ole same. Summer is always almost over before it even really gets a chance to start. school Ads are all in the Sunday paper. I'm like wasn't it just the end of School? August is a Fast month unto itself.

Racial Profiling at the Airport

going to the Airport is bad enough with worrying about the Luggage&meeting your deadline to getting your ticket or tickets in order to get on board. you have to pass the screening,but now you also just might get Profiled. it's One thing when Driven,but now at the Airport as well? lets not kid ourselves Profiling is Racially Based. Black&Other Minoritys are unfairly targeted through all places&Business. so being subjected to unfair treatment&whatnot now hits the airport like I didn't see this one coming??Protecting People is the most important thing,but lets use common sense¬ use this as another form of Brutality.over the years there have been negative accidents at Airports.

I watched the Good times Tv shwo Marthon over the weekend on Tv Land. now I Own Season 1-4 on DVD already,but it was cool seeing a Black Tv Show getting much Exposure. the Major Networks are still slow at having more Tv shows with Black People as the Main Stars. this show was something else despite Jimmy JJ Walker always having to say DYNIMITE!!!!!!!!! the Mother&Father Roles of played by Esther Rolle&John Amos were the real deal as far as Parents go. that was on the real.the togetherness of the family&Villona Across the way(Janet'D'buois) made it all cool. Bernedatte Stanis is timeless to me.I Love me some THELMA!!!! Good double LAWD Hot Jesus in the Morning that Lady is still Off the Chain Fine!!! WHEW WEEE!!! HAD to get that out. also Props&Daps to Bookman,Michael&Penny,Keith,Alderman Davis&Anybody else that was on the Show.(Janet Jackson). the show dealt with all Issues that so much today still neglects. so much is missing on alot of these shows.Good Times 30 years later still Holds up to anything that is on Tv Today.props to the whole cast&Crew that made that show trult a Happening thing.

Baseball AllStar Game

so I watch the Baseball allstar game&while it had some moments,the American league has been running things for almost a decade now.while the New York Yankees are my team,I've always dug the National League more overall,but the NL ain't what it use to be. the game itself was alright,but without Barry Bonds(who is My All time favorite Player)Derek Jeter,&Other Players it felt like something was missing.the Home Run derby was more entertaining than the game to me on a whole.I always watch all star games no matter what the sport,but Baseball use to be the Must see one,but it's kinda just there.I look forward to the 2nd half of the season.A-Rod is my AL MVP at the first half point. in the National League:D-Lee. Best team in the American League thus far is the Chicago whitesox. best in the National League thus far is the St Louis Cardinals. right now the Cardinals look to be the best Team in all of Baseball.but the Best teams are all in the american league.the washington nationals are the feel good story of the year.frank Robinson along with Ozzie Gullen are Managers of the year IMO.Cy Young Race is too close to Call in both leagues. we shall see what the 2nd half Produces.

very sad day upon hearing about London with the Attacks that have Killed 37 people thus far. 700 people Injured. it' a very scary time. just yesterday London was Awarded the olympics in the year 2012&today this is what happens.very scary. makes you wonder just what is out here that is creating this much tension&Maddness?? for all the Familys in London I just want to say My Prayers& i pray that we can all put an End to all the Maddness that is going on out here. 4 years ago was Scary&this is Scary as well.

20 years back when the New York Knicks Magically Won the Ping Pong Ball that Landed them Patrick Ewing(alot of folks still say a Fix was in)the NBA had something special on National TV with seeing who would end up with the Top Draft Pick.fast forward 20 years Later&while the NBA has just passed there very Dumb Age limit to 19 years to Limit straight out of High School Kids from joining in right away,you can tell that the Uncertainity of who is coming is larger than ever. the NBA Draft of Recent Years has had more High School Kids&Foreign Players.unlike back in the 50's-Early 90's you would get to watch a Kid go to College for a couple of years&then enter the Draft&you had a Idea of where they might be. but those days are long gone&I feel that they were never truly there,because the NBA Game&The College game are Worlds Apart.you can Never fully prepare upon entering the NBA.I've seen High School Kids come in &Get the NBA Game.I've Seen Cats go to College for 4 Years&Stink up the NBA.of course there have been High School Busts as well.but the Point is:the Draft doesn't mean the same&Probably never really did because you just don't know how anybody is gonna pan out once they Enter the Pros.
